For sure. I really like where Black Widow is at damage wise, but she needs an attack speed buff. No one likes being one shot so having her take two headshots and three body shots to kill most heroes feels really good to play as and against imo.
1) If you get a kill after using her kick and pull ability reduce cool down.
2) lower the reload and cocking time of her gun.
3) increase baton damage to justify use, would also make her more of a brawler/sniper kit. rather than just sniper with batons; Currently her gun melee is just as effective and quicker to throw out nullifying the need for her batons.
4) Increase gun damage (A head shot for anyone with 250 health should be an ins-ta especially with how mobile a lot of the characters are).
5) Her Ult is kinda garbage should tick for damage while slowing.
Black widow while I don't want her to be broken I would like to see her preform better and played more. What do you think of this list?
Interesting ideas!
1 - That's actually a really cool idea and don't think it would break her. Would be lots of fun for sure.
2 - Absolutely needed in my opinion.
3 - Gotta be honest, I totally forgot she even has batons lol. Not sure why she has em but they could use some adjustments, no doubt. What those may be, I have no idea. Damage buff would see fine, but I think something like a stun would be more suitable.
4 - Disagree. I really like the damage on her gun and think it's in the perfect spot. Only issue is the cocking speed. I hate one-shot mechanics in games, especially from snipers. Think it takes the fun out of the game for those on the receiving end. Her taking 1 head shot and 1 body shot to kill is a very good balance imo. Problem is that the second shot rarely gets the kill because it's too slow and her target is either healed to full or behind cover by then.
5 - Also a great idea. Maybe nothing too extreme, damage wise, as the slow is super significant, but a little ticking damage would help secure some kills for sure as a lot of times Black Widow can get someone down to nothing just to have them run off while she's cocking her gun lol.
She probably deals less damage than Hawkeye because her shot travels faster / is hitscan
I think it's good that she sucks though, I only pick her when steamrolling bots or new players in casual
She can nearly kills most of the roster from basically infinite range with a hitscan weapon. She just needs to shoot people others hit or have others hit what she shot.
He actual issue is her mobility. She's so easy to rushdown and her close quarters options suck. The sticks are pathetic.
Regarding 4 I only suggest increasing to 250 in scoped mode no more than that As a large portion of the cast gets some sort of over shield or self heal or naturally has more innate health than 250 but again I only recommend one or two of those being implemented as more than that I feel would break her. but thanks for the feed back! Glad you agree on most lol.
Edit: After Thought of the batons replace her gun Melee with the baton melee allow for the three piece combo while having the sniper out, just a nuisance to swap between the two.
That would be very helpful. Automatic batons could smooth things up for sure in melee. Switching weapons on her quickly is...well, never quick lol.
I disagree, her drop off in hip fire is so severe she cant deal good damage at anything more than 30 meters plus if you are using ADS within that range you'll have a harder time hitting the target, keeping track of the target, and it slows her; She 100% needs a faster RPM on top of that she has literally one combat ability and its on a 15 sec cool down and if you miss the kick, gg. They made her kit very counter intuitive for how they want her played. I don't think their is another character in this game who struggles to keep up as much as she does.
