Request to Disable Aim Assist in Cross-Platform for Marvel's Rivals
Hey! Has anyone else noticed that aim assist in cross-platform mode of Marvel's Rivals gives console players too much of an advantage? It feels a bit unbalanced at times. Wouldn't it be better if aim assist was disabled for cross-play matches? What do you guys think?

I mean Cross- Platform Off
I look forward whenever a console player is on the other team. Given two people of equal skill in a shooter game, the M&K will dominate controller every day of the week even if the controller has aim assist.

Also, it feels like half the roster has auto-aim primaries anyway so does it really matter :ac6_surprise:

IDK Call of Duty aim assist is world renown for being way better than Mouse and Key, all the pro COD players use controller. That being said, this game has weak aim assist from what I've heard from console players (reddit). Mouse and key is the better option for this game but def not ALL games.

COD is a different story. Their aim assist is insanely strong with much of their combat being close to medium range (obviously are exceptions). From what I could sense here, the aim assist was nowhere near as strong. But that was just a few minutes in the practice range so let me know if I'm missing something.

This isn't really an issue, the game has been out for a little while now and it has matchmaking lol. Any advantage or disadvantage goes away after only a handful of games because if aim assist actually gave anyone an advantage, they would just go up against more difficult mouse and keyboard players literally in their very next game. It only really matters at the highest level

It seems like you might just be really bad, but instead of working on your own failures you want to blame people using older, outdated, and objectively worse controllers lmao

This's blatantly false in terms of a shooter, pro's use controllers for a reason.

It depends on the game and the strength of aim assist. Games that have close quarter combat, the controller tends to be better. Long range engagements tend to favor M&K. It's also something hotly debated.

Keep in mind, this isn't just about aim in rivals. There's quick movement and repositioning where fast mouse movements can be to your advantage such as using black panther. So yes, in rivals, I'll take a controller opponent every single time.

What if we stop complain 'bout these poor guys and actually get better? Have the will to improve aim and whatsoever? I can guarantee you that if two players of the same skill, one playing with M&K while the other is playing with a pad, face eachother, the one with pad stands no chance in games like this

People in wheelchair have a disadvantage from using uneffective controler instead of proper legs, so we should let them play against non-handicapped people but give me AK47 to balance. Why should handicaped players compete against non-handicapped to begin with? Shut up, this is fair, now enjoy handicapped players competing with auto-aim because they choose the lacking platform to play a shooter game. This is fair and totally well thought.

I quitet Apex because of the aim assist they had. You could never take any close combat engagment because the enemie could be a rage hacker oh sorry console player. But her the console players in qp are realy weak on range characters. So the aim assist her seems to be not overtuned.

You should watch the videos of people using a gamepad on PC and wrecking M/KB users in games like Battlefront. The differences only get you so far, if you're good you can be good with either.

As I said, it depends on the game and the context, and the strength of the auto aim. Given all the versatility, snap movements, and time to react in this game, keyboard and mouse has the advantage. Youtube videos really don't mean much either as exceptions don't prove the rule, especially when talking about a different game. No one is saying you can't be a great player on a controller.

Do you even see something about blaming others? LoL Read frist and grow up

Controller joysticks are so archaic and inferior that games implement entire systems to assist people with a fundamental mechanical skill.

Why don't consoles just use mouse and keyboard already?
