ignore all overcomplicated advice. stick to basic logic in the main essence of support character, which is to initiate a team defense/offense strat , DONT STACK YOUR ULT AT THE SAME TIME AS THE OTHER SUPPORT ULT IN YOUR TEAM.
the other support ult of your teammates
everybody still does this even in plat elo. only in one of a few games you would get teammates that understand this ult rotation. its a simple thing really but i wonder how majority of players keep just spamming ult . no wonder 90 percent of playerbase are stuck at bronze and silver
If Mantis or Luna activated their ultimate to aid your team, don't activate your Cloak & Dagger ult. Ultimate stacking, in general, is a bad idea regardless of role or character, because you are using a high cost ability that should be saved for later in the fight. Unless you at a make or break point in the match, don't stack your ultimate with other team ultimates.
You should absolutely use your ultimate to counter another, especially if the enemy team ultimate that was used is another Cloak & Dagger.
