So when the mod breaks who do you think people cry too? The person that made it, that has to update it so it continues to work? Nope, they blame the devs.
deff a super smart idea to mod an online competitive game when the devs are clearly against it. Should work out for you im sure. /s
Meanwhile over at blizzard hq they have this game called Overwatch2 they basically double charged their player base for the same game with the only change between Overwatch 1 and 2 was instead of 6v6 it's now 5v5. They also have a shop for a game they charged me twice to play.
I feel that.. stopped when they announce OW2 was taking a break until PVE was added LOL.. Still taking that break and i dont see it ever ending. Overwatch deserves to lose every single player it has lost and will continue to lose.
Theres been a workaround but like netease said that risks u getting banned and apperently can break ur ssd
Mods breaking on game updates is what usually happens with practically every game, just because skin mods stopped working doesn't mean devs are against them, the same thing happens with Warhammer Darktide for example where the devs are okay with some mods. Though, I could've missed an announcement or something that you're referring to where devs stated mods are no bueno.
