Look, I don't say SG is a "classic" beauty - but I think she's just fine on proportions. If you want a "stricter" definition - then, if you take "classic" beauty as something like 90:60:90, then if you multiply those by the ~same-ish (moderate!) number to get it to stuff like 110:70:110, you'll get what's "thick" and not "fat". That's your difference. Proportions are still the same, dimensions are a bit different.
I do agree for "IRL" cases though, since there the "thick" tends to convert to "fat" very, very quickly with some extremely rare exceptions requiring their (often hardcore) due diligence. But we're talking "superheroes" here.
