Iron Man should have been a Vanguard

Iron Man is my favorite Marvel hero and I was pretty disappointed he was not made into a Vanguard. Anyone agree?

Tony isn't usually directly in the line of fire in the way Hulk or Cap are, you know? He's all about those speedy suits.
If they make variants of the same character in the future maybe we'll get a Hulkbuster or something like that tho

I mean, there is always space for more. They could add War Machine and make him a Vanguard. Instead of direct attacks, he could have large area attacks with rockets and a machinegun primary, since there isn't tank with a machinegun or beam weapon at the moment.

Being a defensive fighter doesn't fit Tony Even when he uses Hulk Busters, the God Buster or the Power Cosmic. However IMO, the buff Hulk gives to everyone else would make more sense if it was Iron Man who enhanced the damage output of tech/science heroes instead.

There is potential for Hulk Buster or Warmachine to be Vanguard.

They could add hulk buster iron man later down the line, then they could add some funny dialogue with the two tony's talking to each other.

I think that would be neat, with the Multiverse they really have a 'Golden Goose' IP

And Dr. Strange should've been a Strategist, they made some unusual choices in their role assignment but at least the characters are usually quite fun mechanically.

Hmmm. Id take Warmachine or Hulkbuster as an alternative. Maybe there is hope just yet.
