Lvl req for ranked

Please make it at least lvl 30. People barely learn how to play the game and then throw matches

I know people are going to argue that what if they came from OW, etc, but truth is, this is mostly to prevent noobs from entering the ranked lobbies and giving away free wins.

So many bad players in low ranks who dont know how to position, play their characters, and go way too deep in the backline

level means absolutely nothing. you can easily hit 30 and still not know the game. if youre honestly complaining about "low ranks" being bad then thats a you problem. build a team and go into ranked then.

"Coming from OW" is the worst thing you can say. That's like admitting you've never played a proper game before.

I'd argue it merely delays them. You'll always get more casual players playing ranked, which is fine as long as they are making a genuine effort (not afk, griefing, etc.)

I dunno about level 30 but the game does have a built-in proficiency metric with each character.

I'd be very interested in a ranked mode that only allowed people to queue if they have say 5 characters to knight proficiency or higher. Or maybe three. Or maybe you can only queue with characters you have knight in. Something. Anything.

I had a guy yesterday who, after we lost the match, claimed he was just learning his character. Trying him out to see how he played. He locked in as first pick and didn't switch the whole match.

it will go up as the game has been out longer. they can't have it be so high rn cause the game is still new

Ah yes, those that pick vanguard in qp and sit in spawn while watching a movie on their other monitor just so they can get access to comp. Sounds like a brilliant plan

the thing is you can be lvl 30 and still suck at a game and you can be lvl 5 and be a natural god in the game. Skill dont nesseccariy comes with playtime.
