Most high ranked players are bad at the game
They are all players who are just carried by good aim. But outside of having good aim and good situational awareness, they are bad. Terrible cooldown rotation, management, ults, positioning, etc. Some dont even know what peeling is.

Now I am not gonna pretend to be a great player. I am still in bronze, but I have the knowledge of someone in grandmaster or higher since I study these terms and know them from a theoretical level. So when I hear a high ranked player not know what any of these terms are, I just assume they are scrubs carried by good aim and mechanical skill.

I feel this game needs to reward those with knowledge more and stop rewarding players with a rank they dont deserve just because they have good mechanical skill.

play a melee character
I've solo queued the whole time and got to Gm3 last season. I'm currently in Plat 1. That doesn't mean anything but if you really had the awareness and game-sense of a gm, I think you would be there :cartel_thinking:

I lack mechanical skill and that is because I am 30 years old. You cant do well in a game like this at that age, but I have knowledge that I am accumulating for when I open up my coaching services.

Play strange or hulk for tank, you don't really need to aim with them. Learn some melee dps and stick with c/d. Easy wins if you really have the gamesense.

Its funny now, but wait until your my age.
There's lots of hero's that can excel with poor aim, play them.
"Guys I'm below average but the better players are worse."

I've seen players on my team sporting the revered character portrait perform like absolute crap, until I took support and focused majority of my healing on them. This game will condition you to play a certain synergy and then absolutely crush you when it falters.
Congratz on "studying" this game. No one wants a coach that can't get out of bronze XD

If you have GM or above knowledge you should at least be diamond with "Average" mechanical skills, the only time i find you really need to aim in this game is when your on hawkeye or hela or targeting small characters like Rocket or Jeff when hes under the ground.

Plus if aim is your issue aimlabs is free spend some time practicing and dont say your age will make it useless because i queue with a 34 year old and he has some of the most insane hawkeye aim ive seen in this game.

Bro, I am literally giving callouts in all of my games. Yet nobody ever listens or cant do anything right. I know where all the points on the map are, what the names of the maps are, and what composition is most optimal.

Aim labs has no marvel rivals. I am spamming the crap out of that forum and even the devs responded making an excuse for why they dont have the game yet. So trust me, I am doing my part to spam that forum hard until rivals is added to aim labs. Until then, I am forced to compensate for my poor mechanical skills with my knowledge.
You do get rewarded with higher game. Just play a character that doesnt need to aim
You don't have knowledge, because you can't put it in practice.
That's how any skill works.

Stop pretending that if you had time and resources, you'd be amazing. You either is or not.
Anything else is just ego jerking.
