He relies entirely on his team healing him a LOT. If they don't do that, he's not playable.
Learn Punisher, Moon Knight, Namor, Rocket Racoon and just about anyone with a good sustain damage. Just ONE dps sitting next to a front tank can do so much agaisnt shields or walls. And if you can't take on healers - just focusing on tanks will make it so healers HAVE TO pocket them and therefore making everyone else die faster or to distract them from flanks.
I play Groot and Magento and i will tell you that Mag, despite having a shield, don't get to block everything. The best he can do is temprorary prevent damage, so people die a bit less. His bubble and damage are actual bread and butter, not his short lasting shield.
maybe the worse tank, but you are playing him wrong for sure. He is easily the highest damage tank by a long shot. He is one of the few tanks that can actually chase down mobile characters, 3 shots dps and healers. He is not a main tank and never will be. He is a dive that does what he does best. Melt the backline and possibly survive. If he doesn't it isn't the end of the world. Mantis and Luna are probably already dead anyways.
What do you mean no way to mitigate damage, almost every ability he has gives him bonus health.
