Rocket is crap

Worst healing and his guns damage, falloff and speed is stupid low and slow. I just feel useless as a healer using him, his heals are only effective against people not taking dmg, his gun is an absolute mess... like even if you can hit people with it, it hits for peanuts. just doesn't feel good at all, ammo is shared with healing balls, and when you do nothing but heal ball spam if can barely keep people alive vs any sort of competent team.

When people get in your face and jump around it's soo hard to hit with rockets gun. Even up close you're trying to lead shots. I just had spider man all round 2 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ me all game, was the most annoying thing ever.

the revive is incredible for teams that aren't morons, his healing is above average since he doesn't need to aim. the only thing i'd say is meh about him is his ult. the only bad healer imo is adam since if you're losing a fight and he revives everyone they just die again.

I actually don't like this match up at all. I give up control of my character and a lot of speed to zip around the map quickly for some damage reduction boosts. Maybe if I had more then 250-275 health normally it would work, but I don't and it makes me significantly easier to be shot.

That damage reduction better be like 90% other wise it's going to make me easier to kill riding on his shoulder lol.

Groot+MK ult is impossible to out heal with raccoon and any other supports ult on. It's probably impossbile even with 2 lunas ult same time on.

Quick elaboration, Rocket has a revive button on cooldown, grants extra armor and jump, which can save you from the environmental death, good mobility, high close range damage, decent healing, and his teamup grants infinite ammo and increased firerate for Soldier/Punisher. Also his ult is great in teamfights, a great enabler if you will.

If you played Overwatch, Rocket's healing is just Moira orbs with smaller healing range and higher speed, so if you make them bounce just right, you can use their entire healing charge on your teammates, or yourself if you have to 1v1 enemy flankers. I think the healing charge is about 100 or so hp, so he can heal 1k health in just one magazine.

Also Rocket is fun. Which is the main reason Rocket is good.

Apparently this is a hot take.

Yes, Rocket is one of the worst healers, beaten only by Adam.

When a healer is literally played as little more than a healbot with no other activity they need to engage it - AKA primary fire at the LEAST - they are poorly designed and need to be reviewed.

Is your armor station revive placed? Welp, that's basically it! Until you have ult or need to replace the station, you're now delegated to 'Just press Right-click because your damage is pointless'.

He's a very interesting character that could have a far more interesting gameplay loop, but people have delegated him to just press Right-click.

one of the best soloQ healers, because you can escape any diver with ease, healing is easy to do and rocket actually shreds tanks if the situation allows it, the revive is one of the strongest skills in the game but his ult is one of the worst from all strategists, cant have everything i guess, but atleast its more interesting than "making your team unkillable for x seconds", if you have a punisher in your team, he can easily carry
