How do battlepasses work?

I am asking this because from what I understood before is that passes would never expire and be gotten whenever,but I noticed that the first one we had before season 1 is there but I can't get in due to not buying,so like does that mean that a battlepass can be done whenver but I can only buy it during certain time period?

Yes, it must be purchased during the active season, but once purchased can be completed whenever

Once you buy the pass it is yours to keep forever but to unlock stuff from past passes you still have to accumulate tokens

Only if you pay real money for Luxury Battle Pass it will stay forever for you to unlock stuff.

To unlock items in BattlePass you need to earn chrono-tokens (pink currency).
It time limited and requires to do daily, weekly and event missions, you can get 200 - 300 daily by doing all missions.

To unlock everything in Season 1 Battle Pass you need around 10.000 chrono-tokens.

The Luxury BattlePass comes in two forms:

1) regular Luxury BattlePass - cost $10

2) Luxury BattlePass with chrono-tokens booster - cost $21


Season 1 is meant to last 3 months (still 88 days left).
After that all chrono-tokens will be reset to 0 (zero).

It says " never expires " but now it asks for the luxury purchase again. I assume by " never expires " they mean for the specific season. Should clarify that.

Do you not have the new one? I have the new pass and able to see old pass as well without buying it again. I am on the last page though so it asks me to earn a few more unlocks first in order to unlock from old pass

No, I bought the one from the previous season because it said " never expires " . I thought that they meant you always have the " Luxury " status for the upcoming seasons too.

Yes, you can complete it at your own pace, however, they will increase the cost of doing so to like 3 or 4k points when its out of season. It will be impossible to complete without paying money for more points.

Obviously not, definitely didn’t think this. Also the price is good for the luxury pass I don’t see the issue
