Sue Storm healing question?
Hi I main strategists cd and luna and I've been playing Sue and noticed I heal way less with her? But she also has more dmg blocked than normal so im wondering if its normal that shes meant to not heal as much cause of her shields or if im just bad at sue? I am bronze so automatically im trash but I was wondering if im more trash on her than my mains

Im wondering this too. I have a feeling its the shielding aspect of her kit that lowers her ability to heal. That balance act.
Her healing is a bit like Rocket's in that you want your team to line up to get healed, but for Sue she also needs them to crowd around her shield for extra passive healing. Treat the shield a bit like Dagger's healing bubble, just smaller.
Yea she's going to have more damage blocked than the other healers due to the shield and excels at healing aggressive teams that stick together due to the boomerang effect of her heal.

Like if you only got Peni to tank she's gonna be not pushing due to her Spider Nests. Where as Thor, Hulk, Strange and Magneto super easy to stay behind them and keep them up.
I believe the shield goes into the "damage blocked" field ala Strange's shield.

Sue either does massive healing or little. Why? Because her PRIMARY fire has a MAX of 30 meters. You HAVE to be mid range with her to heal.

this is solid advice ty ! good to know ill have to treat her a bit diff then my other healers, shes fun tho
I'd treat Invisible Woman as almost an "off healer" rather than "main healer". She has a good bit of disruption, especially if your team is aggressive. This will many times lower her overall healing output in order to balance her damage and cc.

There are very few healers right now that can actively crowd control through damage (freeze and sleep can be broken by damage). But if you coordinate well, you can pull a flanker back to your team after they burned their cooldown, or yoink a tank forward to give your groot an opening to wall them off.

She's far more of a "strategist" than a healbot. I don't have nearly as many hours in her compared to C&D, but I've noticed that my ability to burst heal isn't there, and my overall healing is lackluster when I'm the only healer on the team.

Sue should never be your main healer. She is there for other support like shields, clump damage to try and lock a team together so your team can do a lot of damage. Maybe a little sneaky picking off or harassing the back line on occasion since she can go invisible.

As others have mentioned.

And yeah like Krazy said she tends to benefit from an aggressive team. If you have a team that is very keen on back peddling or getting to sidetracked then she tends to become pretty weak. Though her team up turning Reed into a full blown tank is interesting.
She is great at point control. You toss her psychic force bubble in an upper level flank point keeping enemy DPS away, push them off point, pull them in for kills, and more
Wow ok ive gotten some awesome advice on playing her tysm !! if anybody wants to drop any further wisdom on luna and c&d feel free i will take any advice to get me outta bronze and these tips on macros are great!
just a tip with sue storm aim for the feet you will heal more and do more damage to enemies. The push and pull you can make people fly off the map pretty easily and its funny. Also only use the invisible to get in better positioning (if you're getting dived) dont use it off cool-down you'll save yourself in a lot of sticky situations. If you have hover teammates storm/iron man or any others she wont heal a lot (better off using C&D). Furthermore if your team is grouped up a lot you'll do tons of healing. Coming from a diamond 3 player ATM ;). It also really depends on your team comp if you're gonna use her for main heals but as you play her more you'll see what I mean. Also watch a video on her pretty funny how much people who use her don't actually know how to play her. Finally Invisible is probably the healer i've had the most fun with on this game with how much stuff you can do with her.

That makes a lot of sense. The range issue!
She's the first healer I've reached 27k healing with while also doing 11k damage. I didn't even see how much damage I blocked with my shield.

And you don't need an aggressive team with her. As long as your opponent is being super aggressive sue can hard counter it with her burst cleave healing.
Sue is a perfect solo healer if there ever was one.

Most of your heal comes from your Right Click.

The way to get big heals with Susan is to plant your Shield early on your tank and they need to stay near it to get Healing Over Time. Your normal attack also does healing but a big chunk of your healing will come from the Right Click and your Ult.

if you're playing her like Luna Snow you will see small numbers because Luna heals almost exclusively with her left click, with the idol glowup being a fire and forget thing you just put on a flanker or tank and forget about. Susan is more like Tandy, you do healing with your primary fire (which is auto-aim, making it hard to miss) but most of your healing comes comes from Dagger Storm and the Heal Bubble. So good Daggers get high numbers by managing their cooldowns. Good Invisiable Girls do the same and have to manage the right click cooldown properly to get big heals.

Just make sure you're hitting your shots. Her left click takes some getting used to and it pierces, so if your team is grouped up or lined up you get much more healing out of it. Unlike Tandy where you can just aim in the general direction and get tons of healing value, Susan requires proper aim.

Can heal 30k with her easily. Sue can easily be the main healer if that's what you want to play her as.
