How are people surprised they removed mods

Its a free game you dummies of course they're going to need to make money by selling skins and such. stop being broke and just buy the skins

Unless it's confirmed they deliberetly bricked them, I'm holding out hope. Many games brick mods unintentionally after major updates (if not all of them).

Also as much as I like the mods, they don't look nearly as fluent as the skins the developers make, so I keep buing the skins I like.

Mods don't stop people from buying cosmetics. Hell, I've bought cosmetics because of mods before.

Edit: I looked up mods on Nexus and there is WAY worse than a simple speedo mod for rocket....

Yeah I was actually thinking about a picture I saw on a funny lil website in particular. Nexus is actually way more based than just having a mere speedo mod from what I've heard lol

There are some people who crash from specific heroes and/or their visual fx. For example, I can sometimes crash from having Thor on the screen (playing as him, having him on my team, or having him on the enemy team). I know a guy who used to crash during Cap's ult but now instead crashes during Luna Snow or Cloak & Dagger ult. Imagine being able to mod out the effects that are causing crashes because NetEase can't or won't fix these problems.
