Friend who has a slightly worse laptop has better fps than me

My friend who has an TUF asus A15 with 2050 and ryzen 5 7000 series and 8gb ram can run marvel rivals on 100+ fps. Me with the same laptop model (TUF A15) rtx 3060, ryzen 7 5800H and 8 gb ram cant even get 60 fps on practice range and when i use a hero's ult my fps drops down to 10 fps please help.

dude, this game runs like dog poo and it just doesnt make sense. like you said, he has a worse rig yet runs it better. best bet is to run it on low settings until its fixed

You 1st issue is using a Laptop, those little power bricks cant even compare to a Desktop, you literally comparing a microwave to an Oven when it comes to a Laptop GPU and a Desktop GPU. Even plugged in 4070 nvidia card laptop (way higher specs than urs) is equal to a 3060 desktop.

When looking at a games requirements a laptop GPU and Desktop GPU are waaay off, you would need a 4070 laptop to meet this games desktop requirements imo.

What GFX Settings in game are you both set to?

Resolution we both are running 1920x1080

GFX Are also both the same all set to low for performance and AA is using Nvidia DLSS Performance.

Is it also important to note that my GPU while playing marvel rivals is not being used to its full extent? Its only taking around 30% of it.
