Mouse Buttons not accepted?

Anyone else having issues rebinding actions to be side mouse buttons? Ever since the update I just can't rebind to any mouse button, I had them set to NumPad buttons 1-6 before and that worked but now those don't register when I press them and when I try to rebind the buttons to a different mouse button, it just says 'Can't bind to this key' even though my mouse buttons are now set to be regular keyboard keys...

Customer Support asked me if my mouse had 'analog input functionality' which I have no idea if it does or how to look it up. Customer support also told me if my mouse DOES have that, to try turning off a setting in my keyboards driver settings called gamepad input, but said setting does not exist for me. I have a K55 Corsair keyboard and a AEROX 5 Steelseries mouse

Even worse for me, I have buttons that refuse to be rebound to anything on my keyboard
I use dvorak, but that's not the problem, because the game refuses to allow me to replace ' or mouse 4 for left shift. I can't rebind to SHIFT, of all things

That's the same thing happening to me, the game just doesn't want me to use my side buttons for any kind of bind

I ended up just switching my mouse buttons to be E, F, LShift, C and Q like the default binds on the keyboard are and it so far seems to be working fine, I just wish I could bind them to other buttons and have the game detect them. If you try to bind the side buttons to anything other than the default keyboards buttons the game has- at least for some mice- it just will give you a message saying can't rebind to this button.

It’s weird because I only started having an issue with it when I updated the game the other day, before that it was working fine and detected everything without issue. I might try that though or just leave it on the defaults and hope it goes back to the way it was lol ty though!

Having the same issue I think. I am trying to rebind controls for hulk and iron man to be like my default controls. Restoring to default will show that they are set like I want, but they arent. If I go into game, buttons arent bound as expected. When I go back to settings, they have reverted. If I manually set them per character, I see on the right the message that says "Successfully bound (the button)" but it doesn't show in the bindings. Very frustrating, I just can't play hulk and iron man now.

Try checking your driver and see if your profile settings changed,

for example for me LGHUB now recognizes marvel rivals as a game profile which at the start (S0 and some of S1) it didn't. So it used what ever my default settings were.

However now it recognizes the game and has its own profile it gets set to when playing the game and reset the key binds essentially. So DPI up and down which aren't really keys the game recognizes, which is why they didn't work when i tried resetting the keys in marvel rivals.
