If you didn't buy the battlepass, you can't access it. FOMO/ All your points were just thrown away as well!
If you didn't buy the battlepass you can't even buy it or access it. Also all your Purple points weren't auto consumed; they were just deleted!

I was under the impression that you could buy and complete a battle pass whenever you wanted and that when a season changes, all your Purple coins were auto consumed and bought as much of the battle pass as it can AND THEN deletes the rest of the coins.

NOPE!

Game's no better than any other battle pass system. They are exploiting FOMO just like any other generic battle pass system. All the praises of Youtubers gossiping about "buy and go at the rate you want to" was just purely hypothetical.

Points aren't really an issue at all honestly. They build up very quickly. I had so much excess before the last one ended it wasn't funny.

battlepass is all cosmetics too, so I personally don't care about them. If it were to unlock actually characters, you know stuff that can effect gameplay, then I'd care...

Yeah I noticed this too, this sucks a lot, definitely got hit by the FOMO and lost my interest that's for sure

It's not about what the battle pass gives, it's about how it was presented and the gossip youtubers spread to their audience about it. The battle pass isn't "finish anytime you want" it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FOMO.

Also, there was a public statement about how purple coins worked, and they literally said "all your purple coins would be auto-consumed to buy as much of the battle pass as you can afford, AND THEN the rest would be deleted."
Well that was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lie, because I had over 4k coins and could've bought everything in the pass, but nothing was auto-bought and my points were just thrown away!
And yes, there were a bunch of stuff you can unlock without buying the battle pass.

No lie. I was so excited to play this but realizing they are just FOMO farming has made me not even want to continue playing.
All my progress is just going to be thrown away.

And you were told this before the game even released. You had all this time to

A) Get the batteplass
B) Get over it

FOMO is a personal problem, work on it if it distresses you. Here's a tip for you. Don't think of them as Tokens, think of it as Battlepass XP, because thats what it is. If you know all about battlepasses you should understand this.

it's only finish anytime you want when you BUY the battlepass, you still don't own said product(or i guess the right of the premium battlepass)

I saw that too and I was like WTF, I was told by pretty much EVERYONE that there was no fomo, We can't even buy the Season 0 Battlepass anymore

In that same statement they also said that, that only happens if you bought the battle pass.

I dont like how they do it. I also dont like that even if you have bought it. It wil lock all the pages you had opened and you need to reopen them again with an oblivion amount of coins. I stopped somewhere before the last page because i found the game very late. I can NOT continue where i left off. And they said that, when you buy it you can continue on or own passes. Wel i dont call that on my own passes. I cant even continue where i left off?! And i cant play every day. And i’m also not someone who sticks with one and the same game for months.

I would have bought all the other battle passes in the future if for one. I could keep my coins. And second i could continue where i left off without to reopen the pages again.

maybe if you had eyes and ears you'd know that the devs and the battlepass itself both say/said you only get to access it later if you own it as well as points being reset. Learn to read and stop whining, no one lied to you or baited you and this isn't FOMO, you were "under the impression" meaning you just don't have basic comprehension skills.

There's an info button to click that tells you all the details. Use the UI provided.

The UI looks like a meme, I can't even figure out how to do season events. I don't even click on anything because it causes UI issues if you click to minimize the box on the left at the home screen, lol.

Something like this shouldn't be hidden behind a button.
Imagine you bought gas at the gas station and then in the middle of the night someone siphons the gas out because you didn't read the little box of text stickered on to the gas pump.
No one does that.
