Game wont launch, Unreal crash report (Linux)
Ever since the update today, can't launch game; says unreal crashed. have played this whole time this past month on here using Linux, steam proton was working fine, now today can't even get it to launch to go to main menu. Anyone else having this? Can play all my other games just fine, but this one until their dumb update.

Properties > General > Launch Options then type: SteamDeck=1 %command%

This works for me on a 7900xtx & 7800x3d

Perfect! It seems to work now. Wonder why it did that?
There's probably a bug in the launcher this update. I'd wait until a fix is issued. For those who don't want to wait, the SteamDeck=1 argument works.
i'm using linux and face the same problem how to change the launch parameter?

Use this in the launch params
unset LD_PRELOAD; SteamDeck=1 %command%
The preload stops it from stuttering due to the steam recording stuff and the steamdeck will allow it to load.
Kubuntu 24.10
I used the steamdeck parameter and it fixed the EpicaccountID crash i was having w/ the launcher
Praise God I found this thread, because I was beginning to think something was wrong with my graphics card.

Glad all who were having a hard time found this thread because i spent an hour messing with everything, except using the steam =deck command. So Thanks again to all who knew and gave the answer!

SteamDeck=1 %command%

Just this does the trick.
