Anyone else not having fun any more?

Maybe its just me...prob just me....i had a blast when this game first came out, played it to hell for days straight....now...i have to force myself to play it....i went from winning games out the wazoo to just recently now winning maybe 1/10. Placed gold 1 last season...

I personally think all the casuals and average joe ppl have moved on and now all that is left are the hardcore players from overwatch....there is no fun in losing every single match then going up against bots....and now that they "like every other game that has them" have nerfed snipers....i dont see a reason to keep playing....

When time passes, people who are bad at the game or were brought here by the spectacle fade away. Then you get more matches with people that are competent. Which means, if you don't keep up with them, you lose more. At the same time, since the game's not really balanced, people that really like competitive games don't feel like they'll stick around much longer either. So there's just gonna be moderate players left over that likely don't know of any alternatives.

yea the EOMM is absolute trash everything NetEase has ever made that I have played is always plagued with problems, I hit plat III after 2 days of play in S0 but i just couldn't be asked to play this season it's already getting repetitive

Its not even that, everyone started at the lowest rank. given time it split as some climbed. Even at gold 3 it says you are above 70ish% of the playerbase. Ofc Gold 1 is going to be tougher.

If you are that good you will rise fast and hit competitive play in no time.

It's only so long people can deal with playing on the lowest graphic settings and the game still stutters.

It's the curse of all online games. Spastics will find the "meta" and then roll that. Then when you add a competitive mode you get all the toxicity that goes along with that. People optimize all the fun out of it and then throw fits when they don't win. Even in a PvE games like Hell Divers 2 there are people who will kick you from the lobby for picking a certain load out. Then you have to consider how hero shooters are built. As someone else here pointed out the whole "ult" thing rewards people who are already doing well so more often than not matches just snow ball into stomps. Finally it's 2025 and the anti-social zoomers who grew up on the post 2016 internet are the average player. You'll either dump way too much time and mental energy into this game trying to become "plat" or "diamond" or whatever with nothing irl to show for it or you'll learn to stop caring and just have fun casually. Or you'll stop playing.

Lmao this is such a self-destructive mentality. If you care enough to generalize, scrutinize and basically put down other players just for being better than you at a video game, you are part of the ''sweats'' you despise so much, but like a self-victimizing variant of said sweats

Nah it's just more cheaters. Around January 14th I think a lot of cheats hit the market. There were cheaters before but this was teh day I got my first back to back loss streak of 8 games. I saw plenty of other players that I thought were cheating go on win streaks on or after this day.

As with all games cheaters will cheat people, smurfs will smurf and they will slowly drive people away further increasing the issue over time.

Same thing happens with every game.. But the loss streaks were coming when most of population was still playing.

Every PvP game is slowly decaying and dying because all the cheaters and exploiters are farming all the fun for themselves like vampires.

I had no problem getting to plat 2 in Season 0 and didn't play anymore just to make sure I would get demoted back to Silver 3.

This season I was climbing perfectly fine until January 14th. Since then it's been a slog and it keeps getting worse. I had a game with 6 cheaters on the enemy team a few days ago.

Every game goes like this

Either it seems like an easy win, You make a good push or win a round then when it's their go they magically become unstoppable with no actual changes to the team

or

You get relentlessly bullied from start to finish.

My enemy teams seem to get way easier games than me. Every game I win I had to sweat and heal and make so many clutch plays to keep the team alive or push their supports / dps to win any game. I get thrown one easy game once in blue moon.

The game is just full of cheaters and since your're legit the odds the other team has more cheaters or smurfs is higher than yours.

I played 12 games yesterday in ranked and I won 3. I was demoted from plat 1 when I was one game away from diamond all the way back down to plat 3.

With cheaters in every game and cheaters on my own team. Who when you call out other people cheating on the other team they will troll or go AFK / DC to spite you for calling out cheaters.

It's always the dudes with underscores in their names like Sad__ or Sad_Lord or all lowercase random letters sdvbfhg Or people with Hyphons Like Sad-Lord or Sad-- or people with numbers or a name and then numbers like Sad90876 Or the new one is using full stops or periods like Sad.Lord Or Sad. Or .Sadlord.

These names are like cheaters 95% of the time.
