I actually only play healer anyway, but of all the tanks, Venom is the one that doesn't instantly die. Also his damage seems to be pretty high.
I think that makes up for his more clunky aspects IMO
- his charge (F) deals no damage (30), you cant get high ground with it, its useless because all you need is your sprint (Shift)
- His E deals no damage, bounce is boring and rarely useful
- Slam have small AoE, weak damage (30) and weak CC
First of all... charge should allow him to charge upward to climb buildings.
Second thing is that E should be buffed, removed or reworked. 70 DMG that only bounces 3 times and deals less damage with each bounce. 70 DMG is like a single spit of Namors Squid... its like a single sticky web from Spiderman. This thing should instantly enable his ranged mode, should hit for more damage when no enemies nearby, should bonce till demage reaches 0 (80-20-20-20-20) meaning 10 DMG buff and one extra bounce.
That said I'd be careful with Cap. He's incredibly mobile and already damn near unkillable in good hands. Giving him too much damage could quickly turn him into the most OP vanguard in the game.
Shield deflect is also massively underrated. Venom might do more damage but he can't run circles around you and deflect your defensive cooldowns right back in your face.
