Apparently, there was a data mine leak that Cyclops will be a new hero in a near-future season.

Cyclops is one of the leaked characters. He is coming, probably season 3 or 4.

Gambit, Nightcrawler, Jean Grey, Emma Frost and Cyclops are currently confirmed to be eventually coming. Deadpool is as well if you consider him X-men adjacent I suppose lol.

Leaks have already revealed some of their Roles and ability names. (Gambit + Nightcrawler are Duelists, Jean Grey is Strategist I assume, Emma Frost might actually be Vanguard, she's got a Diamond Skin ability)
