Input Latency /Frametime
After the latest update, a few problems have disappeared but others have been added.
The problems with ping and ping spikes have finally disappeared. However, frametime spikes have been added and the frametimes have generally become less smooth. I can judge this well, as I have everything in view via RTSS overlay and what I perceive as lag can be seen in the frametime graph. I have also deactivated RTSS as a test, but that's not the problem. I recently turned on hardware accelerated hardware support because I wanted to try FrameGen, I don't know if it has anything to do with that, I'll find out next.
I'm also often penalized when it comes to input. Sometimes my input is even ignored completely. If I heal or attack with Jeff and then want to dive down quickly, there's a delay when I dive down. Instead of Jeff diving, there's a pause and I get hit by the enemy and die. It feels like server-side buffering.
And before anyone gets the idea that it's my hardware, no it's not. I play at over 300FPS on a Gsync monitor and have between 30-60ms depending on the game. Other competitive FPS games work perfectly.

It looks as if the map plays a decisive role. I don't know the names of the maps, but on some of them I'm having extreme lags and frametime problems, while on others it runs completely smoothly.
Some maps have glitches, I can see through walls and ceilings in some areas, I don't think that's the way it should be. The programming was probably sloppy here.

Another possible reason could be that this game does not allow control of the cores. So I am not able to prioritize the P-cores or limit the game to the P-cores. This certainly has something to do with the irregular frame pacing.

BRO, is it possible that disabling NKRO solved my problems?? I just turned it off and it's like I am playing a new game. No lags no more.

Bro it's 2025 and we have google, bing, brave, duckduckgo and what do I know; N-Key-Rollover

Still fixed with n key rollover off? I don't think my keyboard has this so I'm not sure if I can do anything about it.

Hydra maps with moving pieces kill my framerate when the things do start moving around

Framerate is not a problem for me, I also tested the game with my old GTX 1070 and was able to run it at around 120 FPS @wqhd, so performance wise the game is okayish. Of course you need a well configured, clean PC overall. However, there are still some bugs and netcode optimization is required.

Of course you'd prolly get that with Frame Gen but the latency probably sucks on that

Yo I've been having SO MUCH PING this last week or two. Everything was fine in season 0 and the start of season 1 but then my ping started bombing. I mean like from 50 all the way to 200-600 ping for the Northern Virginia server

It seems to be input packet loss too

I even went out of my way to get a wifi extender to see if it'll help but nothing has really worked
