Chrono token acquisition is incredibly slow
In order to get the skin I want on Wolverine, I need to grind around 10,000 Chrono tokens. This will literally take more than a month or even 2. That is just crazy.

This drip feed of currency for the battlepass has to be changed asap, as it ruins the whole idea of forever BP.
Forces you to get the luxury bp with 20% increase and even then it takes forever. A normal quest gives you 80 of them. You need the whole page to get the skin...very bad system.

Just let me play the game and get XP or repeatable quest so I can farm the currency,

yeah it at least seems initially the amount rewarded is less than previous BP.
Chrono tokens and the "permanent battle pass" purchase is a way to sell FOMO without the FOMO.

Yes you can return to the page anytime if you buy it permanently, but with the battle passes being drip fed currency and also expiring at the end of the season, unless you dedicate all your time to playing the game, you will constantly be behind on every single battle-pass you buy.

This system actually hurts casual players more than it helps them.

It's the fear of missing out because you have to decide to use your chrono tokens on season 2 or buy season 3, use it on that one and use your season 3 chrono tokens on season 2 to finish season two, but oh wait season 4 just dropped and they're gonna expire etc etc etc

I am pretty sure the chrono will be enough to finish it, so it does not hurt the casual players.
It hurts the people who play the game more, because it won't matter how much I play since I only get daily and weekly quests. Horrible idea to wait 2 months to get a skin I wanted now ( Wolverine for example).
This is the first battlepass that pisses me off in any game I ever played lol.

Because they want you to buy a booster for chrono tokens and instead spending $10 for Battle pass you spend $21.

You can grind chrono tokens by doing daily challenges every fk day or pay for it.
From what I can tell battle pass never expires.

That doesn't even matter because the people who play this game 100 hours a week are going to play 100 hours a week regardless of the battlepass. Season 0 already showed that.

let's not forget the inability to buy past BPs

You have 90 days to do that, are you in a rush or something?
Want to get stuff fast? Pay out.
I agree with OP. it's not *that* terrible, long term, and I am sure in 3 months if you play regularly you will unlock everything you want and need, but limited chrono tokens (and locked to pages heroes plus absolute BS idea to lock the skin behind 'unlock all the items on the page first') pretty much defeat the idea of battle pass that doesn't expire as you still need to stay on the constant grind.

This system needs some tweaks and changes. Either add more quests/ways to earn tokens daily or let people decide which page to unlock first, without locking the skin behind X amount of tokens/items on that page required.
It's definitely to cause long term FOMO and to push people towards buying the boost or extra Chrono Tokens. Typical free to play monetisation schemes.

I got battle pass ($10) and played every day since beginning and only yesterday unlocked Rocket skin (incl full page 2 obv as you need to do it for the skin), with skipping some items on page 1 so yes, people who got the Logan skin already, most likely paid for Chrono tokens (as you can exchange them for latice).
Dude, they are skins. They don't affect gameplay at all, how do you want them to make money? lol

Consumers like you need to respect themselves. I gave them money, I bought the battlepass. I just want the advertised skins earlier than 3 months of grind lol.

You guys are always crying for nonsense, you understand the goal of a battlepass it's you coming back over a long period of time and playing their game/ doing quests, if you get all skins in 5 days what's the point

literally ALL battlepasses in any game works like this, what's wrong with ya

Took me about a week of playing to unlock all season 0 BP rewards (dailies, and I did all the event stuff they give out alot too). I would imagine this would take you about 3-4 weeks of playing daily (1-2 hours at most, bot matches are the key for farming these)

Which is not bad considering we have 90 days till next one and like i said the event that unlocks throughout the season rewards quite a good amount too but the fact these are easily farmed in practice vs bots, make this a breeze imo.
