Game is unplayable after season 1 update

i keep it simple, the game runs like ♥♥♥♥ now. it stutters, the frames drop like crazy no matter what settings i put it on and its just a laggy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess. none of this was present prior to the update, its literally to the point where i have to sit on my ass twiddling my thumbs hoping they fix the already apparent optimisation issues that have SOMEHOW gotten worse

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
AMD Ryzen 5 5600x 6-core processor
16gb ram

If I switch to full-screen it still shows half of the screen as my desktop and all my mouse clicks are off by that much. Game is completely broken. Too bad too because those were my plans for the night.

Think I figured it out. I was looking at a bunch of threads and watched my performance in Task Manager while playing. What I was noticing was that my memory was capping out and my hard drive activity was hitting 100%. That means that it was a pagefile access issue. I went into Windows System Settings and changed my pagefile management to my SSD drives and it seems to be running much better.

As someone with a great computer, I will agree there are times where the frames drop randomly where they previously never have.

For me it stopped launching. I can't even get into the game. I'm on Intel 13900 and Nvidia 4080.

Had similar issues and what helped me was turning off NVIDIA Overlay, give that a shot.

Got pretty similar specs to urs

Never use Nvidia bloatware. Just install drivers and game.
