Game is unplayable after season 1 update

i keep it simple, the game runs like ♥♥♥♥ now. it stutters, the frames drop like crazy no matter what settings i put it on and its just a laggy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess. none of this was present prior to the update, its literally to the point where i have to sit on my ass twiddling my thumbs hoping they fix the already apparent optimisation issues that have SOMEHOW gotten worse

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
AMD Ryzen 5 5600x 6-core processor
16gb ram

And they didnt fix the gpu error. the game still closes after a few matches

I can only play one match and then it starts eating 100% of my gpu even at the main menu so it becomes unplayable. Restarting the game fixes the issue but again - only for one match

Yeah, I ran fine during Season 0, put nearly 60 hours into the game in just a few weeks.

Now, it's ACTUALLY unplayable.

Run Performance/Low settings to see if there is a major change. I have mine set to this and don't plan on raising it until a few patches in maybe.

Had similar issues and what helped me was turning off NVIDIA Overlay, give that a shot.

Got pretty similar specs to urs

I have a very, very good PC and the game runs good but the performance did, factually, dip after the Season patch. If you have a much lower end computer it is likely to be noticed far more but just saying "get a better computer" negates the fact the performance dipped.
