My game wont launch anymore for some reason. It launched like once and then it stopped entirely when I switched to Windows 11 I think?

I can get the launcher to run, but after I hit play on the launcher it shows the anti cheat loading and then I am taken to a black screen with numbers on the bottom left and my mouse cursor changes to the one in game. But thats where my game ends unfortunately, eventually the game stops working and I am taken back to my desktop and the weirdest part is that the game still runs in the background and I can't close it with Steam or task manager. For some reason it keeps crashing task manager, the only way I can close the game is by doing a clean boot of my computer which closes all background applications I am not using. My AMD graphics card is up to date so I have no idea whats going on here. Everytime I am forced to do the clean boot and I launch Steam I get a message from Steam saying that "The Steam Service on your machine requires some maintenance". I'm not sure if this is an issue with Windows 11 or Marvel Rivals, I heard this game has a very sketchy anti cheat program and its making me think it might be interfering with my computer somehow. Right after when Marvel Rivals wouldn't close down I tried two other games to see if they would work which was Balatro and Death Stranding, and now both of those games will not close down properly and I have to do a clean boot to close them. I tried one other game after I did the clean boot and it closes down just fine. I have zero idea what is going on here.

Did you also download Windows 11? If not then this might be an issue with Marvel Rivals then

I'm in the same predicament...I'm using windows 11 aswell. Started my pc today game wasn't loading. Uninstalled and reinstalled and now getting the same marvel-win64-shipping error

Same problem here, since the error is with multiple people its the game. Glad to know its not my pc

Try validating files? Try uninstalling and reinstalling?

I had a similar problem, fixed it by verifying the files. To do this go to marvel rivals in your library, then click on the settings wheel next to the little "i" symbol, click on "properties...", then click on installed files, and then verify integrity of game files. This worked for me so best of luck to the rest of you.

Which update are you referring to? An update for Win11 or Marvel Rivals? I am trying to figure out which might be the issue for my computer problems right now.

the new rivals update, i tried the epic games version of rivals and it works fine now, im just trying to figure out why steam isnt working im thinking its something with my own acc but i havent been able to figure it out yet

ive deleted all the mods ive downloaded, theres no trace of them in my files or the game files, so far nothing has changed
