ISP Gateway to game server connection error
Hey,
I've been trying to play Marvel Rivals, but upon entering the game I receive a network error pop up. After checking the in game network diagnostics, the game shows a connection error between the ISP gateway and the game server.

I have adjusted the firewall and tried most steps on the internet over the course of a few hours.

Is this a contact my ISP issue, get a VPN issue, or something entirely different?

Please let me know if you have any ideas!

was this before or after the severs shut down?
servers down rn for the new sesson one drop
game is down for like the next 2 or 3 hours
because season 1 comes out today there not re opening the severs until 10:00
Yesterday, it just said no connection.
I guess i will recheck when the servers are back up. Funny that the time I post a discussion post is while the servers are down lol

Servers are down for maintenance. You may have got the patch but the game servers won't be up till 5 UTC
there was just an update to the game, try that.

i still have this problem
hey guys, have any of you found a solution to this problem yet???
They servers just suck, or are overloaded. I started to have huge lags in recent days between ISP gateway and game server. Ping is always fluctuating during the game. Used to be stable.

I've had the same issue and I've been using vpn for to play it until the vpn stopped working in game. I found that the issue is the IPv6 is the issue in the game. I believe this game tries to communicate through IPv6 and that might cause some issues with some Internet carriers. Make sure you follow these instructions to disable it and hopefully the issue clears up for you:

✅ Force IPv4 Use:
Disable IPv6 in your network adapter settings just to test. Go to:

Control Panel > Network and Sharing > Change Adapter Settings

Right-click your connection > Properties

Uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) Then test again.
