Adam Warlock Not Reviving

As per the title. I've had many moments when I've successfully executed my ult, but revived nobody. What exactly is the prerequisite for this? The game doesn't exactly say it. Any leads would be helpful.

Team mates dead, or die within the grace period after it will get revived next to you on like 100hp.

They need to be in a particular radius from adam. That radius moves with adam. You can see it on the floor. So when you cast your ult you need to move closer to dead allies. You can check it in practice.

oh!! If lets say 4 dead bodies are 30m away and I just have to walk close enough towards their dead bodies for them to respawn at my ult?

well you have to resurect the corpses, not their spirits

Yes. You can drop your ult behind wall and walk towards the bodies to res them.
