I don't know if this is true but from what I've heard people who play on console have some form of aim assist that actually functions. On PC, the option for aim assist is in your settings but it doesn't do anything, which is to say PC has zero aim assist. My honest advice is to become either a Scarlet Witch or Ironman main. Maybe Mantis if you like support. SW doesn't need to aim. If you go Ironman, just shoot the ground near the enemy.

Also you could try lowering your sensitivity. This will increase your aim but just know if you go this route you'll never be able to compete with the upper level spazzoids. If you watch high rank game play, the camera is whipping around so fast you can't even really see what's happening.

Scarlet is fine but ironman is terrible if he isn't using his beam. Every melee DPS is good for people who can't aim. A Mantis who cant aim is a useless support. Cloak or rocket is a far better option.

Theres a massive wealth of youtube videos talking about improving your mouse aim. The only setting that will "help" your aim is your sensitivity.

try tweaking your aiming reticle. i aim better when its smaller dot (for people like adam warlock etc), the circle is good for melee and wide attacks

To aim better in PC games, focus on practicing regularly with aim trainers, adjusting your mouse DPI settings to find a comfortable sensitivity, and refining your crosshair placement, while also considering factors like your monitor refresh rate and practicing specific aiming techniques like tracking and flicking in-game scenarios relevant to the game you play.

Key points to improve your aim:
Practice with aim trainers:
Utilize dedicated aim training software to practice various aiming drills like tracking moving targets, flick shots, and quick target acquisition.

Adjust your DPI:
Find the right DPI (dots per inch) setting for your mouse that provides a balance between precise control and quick movement.

Optimize your crosshair:
Experiment with different crosshair sizes and colors to find what works best for you and your playstyle.

Monitor refresh rate:
A higher refresh rate monitor can significantly improve your ability to track targets smoothly.

In-game practice:
  • Target pre-aiming: Anticipate where enemies might appear and position your crosshair accordingly.
  • Tracking: Focus on smoothly following moving targets without overcorrecting
  • Flick shots: Practice quick, precise movements to hit targets rapidly
Game settings:
  • Sensitivity settings: Adjust your in-game sensitivity to match your mouse DPI for consistent control
  • Pointer acceleration: Disable pointer acceleration for more precise aiming
Hardware considerations:
  • Gaming mouse: Invest in a quality gaming mouse with good tracking and customizable features
  • Mousepad: Choose a mousepad with a surface that suits your mouse for consistent glide
