Costumes "On Sale"?

If I go to the in-game store the costumes are listed as a marked down price (usually 2200 to 1600), but I don't remember ever seeing them at full price. Every single costume is at a marked down price.
Does anyone remember seeing these listed at full price? Because I'm pretty sure advertising things as "On Sale" when no such full price was ever available is misleading marketing and against some regulations.

No they always were at this "discounted" price. But will they remove that "discount" someday?

Hopefully not because 1600 is already a lot for one skin.

From my understanding it's a bundled price they're advertising (You aren't just buying the skin, you're also getting things like sprays and sometimes emotes and mvp animations) so the "full price" is every item in the bundle added together with the "discount" being a bundle price.

Not really sure that's true as the Thor Love and Thunder bundle is marked down than the other Film license skins and the price before the discount is the same as the other film skins. I don't think it was ever sold at 2600 like the others.

Its a "fake sale". To incite FOMO and "woah thats a good deal". It's usual mobile-game and F2P BS, Netease is mobile dev after all.
They can say that "Its not a sale its information!" but they sure make it look like one with crossed out price and "-49%" tags on stuff.

What it REALLY means is that the crossed price is "Here is how much we say it would cost if you bought items seperate". So they CLAIM that bundle has 2200 worth of items "but if you buy all together its only 1600!"

The issue is that you cant buy the items seperate aside from skin..

This. You get a discount for buying the entire bundle vs. buying each item individually.

I'll admit the "price" of getting skins, and difficulty of getting the required tokens for them, is annoying.

To be expected from a F2P game, but still annoying.

Yeah I think this might be the reason. If you click only the skin it says its price is 1400. So it shows you that you're "saving money" from buying the bundle.
