Asking for Tips on Hulk

How should I optimally engage against other enemy tanks and when to back away, as Hulk doesn't have a very good armor ability.

Go in shield, go out while you can shield again. Transforms have i-frames, too.

Play around your shield CD. If your team doesn't heal you when you retreat, you gonna have a hard time.

hulk sucks ass without a decent healer, his hitbox is like 3 times his size and he's already bigger than most of the cast

play hulk as a support tank, peel for your main tank, help backline with divers with shield and get your ult, then either engage with ult or hold it until enemy engages and destroy their squishies. Hulk's clap has 1 sec cd in ult form and has a much bigger hitbox

You kind of have to play him like Venom dive in and dive out. He's great in a team fight as he creates space for your dps and heals to get advantageous positioning. Ideally you want to go after heals or melee dps. Use your clap for ranged enemies or to finish off someone at low hp. Use your shield to mitigate burst damage or when on low health. Jump away, if you feel like you're going to lose a duel. Use your shout ability to interrupt or to stop someone from running away.

You need to keep jumping (charged jump). Jump in... punch few times and if you are focused then jump away to get heals. Worst of Vanguards if you are not getting healed. His shield have huge CD and his Ultimate requires a lot of charging. If not for TeamUp with Iron Man and Strange I would probably never pick him. Not when Thor exist that can self-shield while being better at smacking problems.
