how do you even balance loki ult

I dunno how effective it is to play like that in ranked cos the team usually suffers a few deaths while he is off doing Loki things xD

Obv you use your stealth when you need.
Or just use your absurdly long range teleport into the middle of the enemy team and instantly double Q psylocke
He can use any ult that's supposed to be balanced by the hero having lackluster mobility basically instantly after teleporting across half the map since there's 0 delay on him placing a clone and being able to swap with it

But yeah i do feel you, id guess they are waiting to make any changes to him cos he is high skill capped. And countering his ultimate is gonna probably take a little while longer to figure out, because decent Lokis double up on say a WS ultimate and its pure devastation. Until decent counters are invented I guess they're gonna leave him alone.

For all you know it might be as simple as keeping an eye on destructible objects in the environment like pots and bushes. He smashes those when he walks over them, and they're often situated next to walls, where Loki likes to hide with his clones out in the open.

Characters with AOEs can bring him out of stealth easily. As can characters with rapid fire.

Imagine the game in a couple month's time, where this kind of thing is common knowledge and people are now making Loki feel really underpowered because he gets spotted and instagibbed immediately.

Wanda's ultimate had the same thing, just people learned her weakness in a much shorter time frame.

- float slowly and beg to be shot while anyone with mobility can instantly escape before it pops anyways (its just bad)
Loki ult is
- Every other ult in the game if a given character is in the match, instantly, on a character with stealth and the best teleports in the game

Impossible to balance Loki ult without making it useless. Its as strong as the level of the ults of the other 11 characters in the match. The only difference is you can’t be braindead and use the rest of lokis kit.

Loki has a high skill cap? He's faceroll levels of easy to play outside of his Ult. His Ult is literally the only thing in his kit that requires some semblance of skill to utilize, and even that's a reach.

Loki is super hard countered by moon knight.

Loki clones are basicly free ankhs.

So yeah, half decent moon knight makes him completely unplayable.

Ping the moon knight for the team and put a clone in front of moon knight himself. Works every time (unless your team are THAT bad).

That's how competitive games work, its called counterpicking and its the difference between being stuck in silver and getting to diamond
