Quick Match needs a rework, and not just bots.

My team got stomped really badly, so I decided to check my teams career and the enemy team.

Surely with 200,000 players plus crossplay they can do better and still make the queue time less than 10 seconds.

Diamond 1
Platinum 3
Silver 1
Hidden (went 19-2)
Silver 2
Gold 3


My team:
Gold 3 (me)
Bronze 3
Bronze 3
Silver 2
Bronze 3
Bronze 3

Even just swapping silvers and bronze from the other team would have gone a long way.

Look I don't mind a challenge but a stomp never feels good.

yeah since i am high level from playing QP i am getting grandmaster and diamond level players while my entire team was below level 10.

Why should they divide people up by rank? Quickplay is intended for everyone and even ranked people don't like to sweat matches all the time. What if I'm high ranked but want to play more casually for several rounds? How am I going to do that? Do I have to now go into ranked and purposely throw matches so I can get to do that in quickplay?

That's what Vs AI, 1-3 level difficulty is for where you and a team of other people play AI bots...

You can get all that there. That is the Casual mode after all.

to those saying just play vs AI if you want casual ....nah im sorry but im above 3 star difficulty AI so i learn nothing doesn't help that my team is so blood thirsty for that MVP kill dopamine they don't learn how to play the game and im the only one actually playing the game for the objective quite frankly its embarrassing

is it hard to ask when it comes to quick play i get team mates close or around my skill not the little single cell bottom of the barrel morons i get 95% of the time

and if you dare say just play ranked .... thats even more stressful and i BARELY made it to silver 3

Community managers and game directors make stupid decisions all the time.

And again ignoring common sense responses. Find another thread to troll.

That's nice... If your that upset over this, go show them how it's done by making your own game, or someone who can do it for you if you cannot. Or just play another game entirely then.

But this is their game, so they ultimately decide what gets in and what does not. That's the benefit of it being their game after all, and I don't see people like you, even if you leave effecting it or how successful it's going to be any time soon.

Team Fortress 2 does it like this as well, and it's been alive how long now?

Unless you can convince them other wise. It's going to stay this way and that's it. Just like how they won't force role queuing in this game either for those who want that. You're just going to have to deal with it...

I agreed with your initial post, but calm TF down. Stop, breathe, take your meds. That person did not insult you and was not aggressive to you at all. They also provided very relevant information which you disregarded as the game team making stupid decisions.

No one cares if you think it's stupid. That's the decision they made, you can either live with it or STFU and move on.

Because QP is where the Bronze 3 casuals play to have fun. If all the matches end up being against uber-diamond+. It's called not fun, uninstall, and no money for DEVs. It's very simple really.

What do I do if I want to learn a new character that isn't the role I initially played in, or if I want to play laid back and non serious in matches? Do I have to purposely derank myself to have those fun matches myself?

Also, why does Quickplay punish people for leaving matches, and punish other people to force them into those matches to refill those roles. No one wants to back fill matches. Besides, if it were casual, match wins and loses shouldn't even matter to begin with, so why are you complaining in the first place?

I hate matchmaking set ups in general. I was there before Quickplay was a thing and everyone relied on community servers. Stupid quickplay ruined it for everyone who loved good community servers.

Good community servers will always ALWAYS trump any type of matchmaker service there is.
