So I don't know the exact numbers but the focus here seems to be mostly on Hela so I have two questions.

1: Does the health reduction mean it generally takes about 1 hit fewer to kill her?

2: Does the nerf to her season bonus mean it takes her an extra hit to kill most targets?

These numbers tell me their objective was a shift of one hit, both to kill her and number of hits to kill for her. This is a perfectly reasonable measure of balance adjustment in a game like this. In fact if you have experience with balance adjustments that overnerf characters to uselessness in previous games you'd find them trying to make adjustments in very slight amounts to be a glorious relief.
won't she lose her season bonus? That was a huge boost

For point 2, it means she has to headshot you twice instead of a headshot + bodyshot to instakill most squishies.

For point no.1, ideally yes, but this only works in the situation where people can land their shots. I think the real problem is most people have potato aim so this change barely does anything for them.

as far i understand how the notes are written she got damage nerf on herself
and the team up ability nerf from 20% to 15%
get to diamond and you can ban her
hela got dmg nerf also it just doesnt say in patch. 4 shots to body 3 to head instead of 3 to body 2 to head and dmg drop off.
honestly, i like that they dont give in to the whiney community. that they chill and make some slight adjustments and then see what develops from there. i think the game is not broken enough to warrant anything else. and people are STILL learning the game. season 1 isnt supposed to be a drastically different experience from season 0 and thats okay. because whats there right now works pretty well.

the funny thing is they buffed her after beta with 25hp and now they took 25hp. so shes the same.
As a former For Honor player, I've seen very terrible balance decisions.

It's pretty reasonable idea to do small tweaks to most heroes every season to see how it plays out instead of some drastic buffs/nerfs to a couple of characters. They could change some mechanics and make big changes, but it would shake the meta pretty hard in unexpectable way.

The direction that they are going seems logical, they are nerfing and buffing the right characters. They know their game it seems.

I agree with this to a certain degree because Black Widow is still easily one of the worst DPS's in the game and her buffs didn't realistically address any of her problems.

Also Wolverine probably didn't need a HP buff

Also Luna being untouched is pretty crazy, and saying "choose Iron Man" is not a good way to balance her ult.

They also nerfed Dr. Strange who was the only tank who could kill strategist through their ults

And they also Nerfed Hulk instead of the team-up which is half the reason people play him and why hes permabanned in Diamond +.

The rest were ok though, but there was definitely some questionable changes.

Dr. Strange nerf is indeed a weird decision. Surely, I can live with his aoe being less effective, but I'm 200% positive, nobody asked for his changes as he always felt like a balanced hero overall.

It's pretty crazy yeah. He doesn't seem broken, but for some reason he caught a stray because god forbid you're able to kill a mantis through her ult.
I question some of these balance changes too, but it's their game so I'll roll with it until I get fed up.

Wolverine is an absolute menace already and completely dominate any game where he is not addressed by the other team at all times so no buff was necessary. Just because Bronze players can't play the character right does not mean he's bad.

Luna absolutely needed a nerf to her Ult, there's a reason we ban it in ranked when we're given the chance, it's absolutely aids. She ults for 12 seconds granting everyone immortality and a damage boost, then Loki copies and does the same thing for another 12 seconds making half a minute of just immortality, which is enough to curb stomp a team .

Mantis nerf was appreciated, no reason she should be DPS better than DPS characters, heal better than supports, and move faster than nimble characters. I still could have lived with her pre-nerf since you could kill through her ult and theres much more counter play to hers than Luna

Ironman and Bruce is still a cancerous team up. Ironman does something like 220dps, All he has to do is go behind your team and beam your supports out of existence before you can even lock onto him to kill him. This teamup is so bad we have to actively ban Bruce first forfeiting the chance of banning Hawkeye or Hela if the other team doesnt get it.

Yeah a lot of these character kits are as if the Devs were battling with themselves of whether or not to balance this game for casual play or competitive.

Its overwhelmingly casual in nature, but then characters like Black Widow are incapable of one tap kills with a sniper rifle (which makes almost no sense?) but Hawkeye was given a treelog size one tap arrow.

Mantis Ult is just an undertuned version of Lunas ult. Its almost like they literally said “lets make a slightly more balanced version of a broken ultimate”
You don't have the stats they have on the game to make an effective judgement, they do. Just because you don't like it doesn't make it bad for everyone
