because concord was a full priced title, its character design was just plain ugly and compared to marvel its not an IP that interests people.

rivals has characters we all know and love and is exactly the type of hero shooter people would want overwatch to be. and so naturally, it sees success.

It's up to the dev and marketing teams to produce and advertise to drum up their product's interest so that people would want to open their wallets and spend their money. That's why Concord's team job to do that and they failed. Marvel Rivals team did not. No company is entitled to anyone's money. If they want it, they have to earn it.

Concord competing to F2P game especially oversaturated genre.

Marvel Rivals did a decent job copying Overwatch even improving it. I thought MR is just a cash grab and mediocre game after I am playing it's a decent game.

No additional third party launcher that I need to register just to play in Steam. Decent character Roster especially for a Marvel game.
