peni parker insanely op?

what's the weakness of this hero, health regen, for the whole team, mines, decent ranged attack with no reload, 800 health, a giant minefield that regens health, grappling hook with 3 second cooldown, oh I forgot, wall run as well, and a projectile stun on right click with 3 second cooldown

I've been dumpstered by this hero multiple times, I'm basically a hela main and I can't even scratch her

Kill spider nests. Literally ignore her until nest is gone. And she's tank, if you keep just hitting her, you're only wasting your effort. Only focus tanks AFTER healer and most of enemy DPS are dead or off from fight. Same with any deployable-focused heroes. Ankh is always prio etc.

you have to get past the spider spam though, the tank is up front obviously

You can just, walk around, plap the healers and then watch everyone disappear.

Kill the spider nest. Attempting to fight Peni with it up is going to go badly against you. You HAVE to kill the nest and she becomes deadweight for 16 seconds (the cooldown timer of the spider nest). This nest also does not regain health. All her damage comes from her nest and mines which you can cancel by meleeing them before they go off or shooting at them.

Shoot the nest, shoot the mines, or prepare for a miserable time.

Additionally, if you have a character that can pull Peni (not Jeff ult), you can burst her down while she's vulnerable. She normally has 650 HP, but she gets regen and bonus health from standing in her web. If you end up getting the drop on her, killing her destroys the nest too. She is extremely weak if she is not around her web or nest.

Struggling to destroy her nest? Go play a hero capable of flight. Preferably DPS. Maybe pick a hero with stealth like Psylocke or Loki. Or go Groot, spawn a wall exactly where the nest is at, and watch Peni break down as if she's reexperiencing the third impact.

Her projectile stun needs a rework. No reason why she should have an ult-stopping projectile on a 3 second CD. She's not very fast nor has a quick use movement ability so I get she needs some way to protect herself from melee characters, so I would personally be fine if it was changed to an ability that either just has knockback and prevents movement CD for a second; or make it work like squirrel girl where you get glued in place for a second or two, on a 6 second CD.

Just kill her nest and watch out for mines, thats her only real "op" thing

As stated above, destroy nest, if you are a tank as well, act as a mine sweeper, otherwise kill off enemy support as dps, or make sure you stay alive with your team as support. If you have a decent team, support will always try to stay near the tall Penni to make sure they are protected from divers.

Echoing off everyone, really if you take her nest out then watch out for her mines she is pretty much rendered useless. She is one of the squishiest tanks out there and you can easily out maneuver her.

If she is playing alone or isolated from her team its obvious that she is trying to just lead you to her mines and/or nest, basically ignore her and just aim for her other team mates.

You play Hela, mate. It just takes a couple of shots to kill the nest. Also, stop focusing the tank.

Watch some of your replays see what went wrong and try again Iron mans beam melts her, other than that don't get too close and check for mines before you run and grab that health pack.

There are routes left and right the middle isn't the only path so many people don't play the map they just stick middle all the way.
Once the healers are dead the team folds or falls back to the next choke.

About the only threatening part of her kit is the web stun.

Destroying the nest pretty much removes 80% of her kit and all of her sustain. It also makes her ult useless.

You can destroy mines in their activation window. Meaning you can walk into them and pop them before they damage you as long as you know they're there. Speaking of this is a 3rd person game, you can look around corners.

Her mines do 100 damage a go they can be thrown quite a long way the little spiders on the web don't do so much damage. badly placed mines are ineffective i agree but throwing them behind the tank kills the healers quite often.
Also throwing mines in the middle of jeffs special has saved many team mates.

When I see an enemy Peni. I think to myself free ult charge right there. She is honestly in my opinion one of the least versatile tanks in the game. She is one trick with her Spider Nest, after that... She is useless to the team. Peni to me is only useful for Phase 1 of defense on convoy. After the point is captured. Use another tank or just go DPS. The only thing she has is her Right Click to take people out of ULTs and that's it.
