Pc shutting down during matches
The game is unplayable, my pc simply shutdowns in the middle of 90% matches although the game runs perfectly fine (without any stuttering or fps drops) im not sure if it is because of overheat or similar, but my pc runs most high end games with no problem

the only other game where this happened was with Warhammer darktide, but then i lowered the settings and everything went fine till this day

So what the ♥♥♥♥ is going on with this game's optimization? I cannot fricking play this even at MINIMUN settings, i've tried searching for solutions, couldn't find anything, it doesn't seem to be hardware related because i have played much heavier ♥♥♥♥ and it never ever shutdown at all

Same here bro, my PC runs with a i5 10400, gtx 1650, 16gb RAM, it's not the best, but surely could handle this game, every second match crashes middle game, it's kinda frustrating and i really love the game, this has to be their top priority, because otherwise they'll end up losing players, and I reiterate, the game is very cool, I downloaded it the day after it was released and I don't regret it. But the fact that it crashes automatically (not just with me, but also with other players who have even more powerful PCs) is tiring and can easily demotivate anyone if it becomes constant and there isn't a major update or optimization to fix it.

at first i've actually been able to play it (during a few days after release i mean) but then it crashes every match, just now i gave the game another chance, re downloaded it, once again messed with the settings
pick my character, 15 seconds till the match starts, boom my pc shuts down

also just checked my specs, they are:

11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11700K @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz
32,0 GB RAM

like i said, i run most games easily
This just started happening to me as well. I played 4 matches tonight and it shutdown at the end of the 4th match. Prior to that it crashed to hard reboot about every 2nd match. I restored my PC to a previous version and played 4 event rounds and some practice rounds without it crashing at all. It only seems to crash in quick play and competitive matches.
I am going to do some basic maintenance like check if my bios needs updating, but this is only happening with Marvel Rivals.

maybe you are overheating? you guys should check how much dust is in your PC, I always get a lot in the cooling fins of the CPU cooler so make sure you check all the nooks and crannies

I just did a clean and thermal paste, checked my temps, check event logs, malware/virus scans, and it looks like the hard reboot reset my Bios to default.

I've been having this same issue for weeks. It got to the point where I took my PC in to get diagnosed because I crashed constantly after one match, if I could even finish that match. (I did start having issues with Helldivers too, but other games were fine but the PC crashes were getting bad).

My PC Specs:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700K CPU @ 3.80GHz 3.79 GHz
32GB RAM
RTX 2060

the fans do obviously spin faster due to the game being more demanding than most other games i play
but i wouldn't say it's something abnormal, most other hardware demanding games have the fans spinning like that, and even right after it shutdowns my pc doesn't seem unusually hot, my pc expells heat, but checking both where the heat is expelled and touching the box, it's far from noticeably hotter than normal

It's cause you didn't follow the directions in the warning that popped up when you first started the game.

One day humanity will be able to read. I believe in the future.

Look at all these poor children can no one do hooked on phonics anymore. Think of these children who can't read WARNING.

Google what the warning said and that's the fix.

you mean the "enable GPU debugging" thing?

well first of: it told me to install the lastest drivers, which i already had
it also told me to delete shader cache, which i couldn't do yet because it tells me it's being used by another app (prob nvidia) and i can't find a way to delete it in the nvidia launcher thing, i will see if i can fix it later

and second: do you even know what "debug" means? it's meant to show INFORMATION about how something is operating, not fix anything or idk what you were expecting smartass

(PS: actually take 2 seconds to decide if what you are writing makes sense before saying stuff like "loOk At ALL thESE poR CHidlREn WHo Can'T read", just so you wont make yourself look like a clown)
PC shutting off while playing is a huge sign of overheating. Look at your temperatures when you play next time. There's a PC boosting software i got that plays an alarm when CPU or GPU gets really hot while running. I forgot the name but it's a generic ass one that wants you to subscribe. I am very certain there are other apps that accomplish this but this was the only one I am personally aware of.

If it is the case of overheating, you want to lighten the load on your PC. Kill bloatware, close internet browsers, turn quality down, use SOME form of IAA or whatever, increase fans RPM. This game is more heavy on CPU than GPU. Do whatever you can to reduce the stress the CPU takes.

hmm, the only issue I have is fps dropping crazy from 200+ to 1. But I fixed it by disabling the nvidia overlay and turning on the hardware-accelerated gpu scheduling on windows settings. Idk if this solution works for you or not, but worth to give it a try.

honestly i'd say it IS most likely overheating or CPU overload? dunno, but i don't know what else aside from something like that could it be

The thing is: given how
1- im not the only one having this problem
2- almost never happened with other games

i'd say it's most likely an issue on their end that i can't do much about

let's hope and see if they do anything about it next season, i really don't wanna lose more hope than i already did in net ease, considering the fact this game has HUGE potential

that happened once the first day i played, i was playing a match and in the middle of it the fps suddently lowered A LOT
But like 2 minutes after it came back to normal and never happened again since then
