how do you counter a good spider man

I hit gm on my main and can't do sht against a spider man, my main is iron man. He seems to have no counters if the player knows what he is doing

step 2 : put turrets
step 3 : watch spider man fly and zip around tryin to dodge the undodgeable

Namor is good against spider, but i don't think better aim as Iron will really help against good spider.
In isolated 1 v 1 he wins most of the time, only heal from supports who pay attention can save
Also it feels like spiders struggle against strong melee heroes, like magic or fist, the only problem is that they can never catch him too
At least from my experience it's like that

People that were hardstuck plat in overwatch are reaching GM still in Rivals. Chances are you just cant aim well enough to counter a good one. He needs to hit several projectiles on you before he can even be effective or chase.

Abandon the notion that you have a "main."

These games are about countering your opponents. Iron Man is countered by Spider-Man. Adapt. As long as you have the mentality that you have a "main" you will be limiting your potential.

Iron Man is countered by spiderman. Nothing you can really do about this. You either have to switch to another character or have a namor on your team. Otherwise, just stick with your team and fly low if you don't want to swap.

I like playing support and most supports cant get away effectively against a spiderman and I have seen as luna my stun go through spiderman

Swap hero or stick closer to your team. Spiderman is a character Tony struggles with for obvious reasons. Tony in general struggles against bursty characters capable of reaching him, which is why Hela and Hawkeye are so good against him.

If you really insist on playing Iron Man with a Spiderman present, make sure he does not hit you with ANY web balls. Make him work in getting you

psylock would probably also be a good counter because of all her ulit abilities and close range dps. Spidey directly walls iron man so its hard to outplay them, but definitely possible.

If you are support, Loki, he has ways of avoiding damage and if timed right, you can easily evade enemies. On the other hand, you need to be cautious with your cooldowns and if you mess up, you are dead.

Vanguards don't seem to have any issue dealing with spider, except maybe captain, and you can give shields with magneto/hulk, or pin spidey with venom. Penny is usually enough to dissuade wannabe vigilante from getting close to your location, especially if you boobytrap everything in your vicinity unless he has a pocket.

Can't offer help with the dps/duelist. Namor works ok, just pop a few octopi and throw explosive spear near spidey and he will leave temporarily, iron fist works too... maybe... Punisher might work, but needs good tracking, and hawkeye will one shot spidey in the head, though you need to have a good aim, which I lack. Also winter soldier, get a punch combo, shock and a headshot or two bodyshots will deal with annoying pest.
