*FIXED* Game Won't Launch :(
My game won't launch: it doesn't give me error codes, it just stays on a black screen and the application stops responding. I've reinstalled the game three times, verified the files five times (nothing missing, just says they're successfully verified), updated my Windows and drivers, uninstalled Windows update, restarted my pc, and ran the game in gpu debug mode, but still the same thing.

I've been playing the game for almost 50 hours with no issues until now. Has anyone else dealt with this? There has to be something I'm missing.

Edit: unpluged my ps4 controller and it immediately fixed my issue. But man did it take years off my life lol

Have you tried launching the game in a differete DirectX? in proprieties there's "Boot option". Try to launch it in DirectX 11 or 12 putting this command. -dx11 or -dx12

Did you try to purge cached video settings from %LOCALAPPDATA%\Marvel\Saved\Config\Windows ?

Did you try to purge cached video settings from %LOCALAPPDATA%\Marvel\Saved\Config\Windows ?
I've cleared local configuration files via the launcher, but idk if that's the same thing you're talking about.
By purge you mean deleting the files there right?

Yes, remove.
No clue what the launcher does, better to check that directory manually.

Removing the file didn't work. I Just now moved the game over to my SSD to see if maybe that would help, but still nothing.

Edit: I checked the task manager details, and there are 3 processes for Marvel Rivals I see. The launcher and .exe are fine, but it's the "Marvel-Win64-Shipping" that's not responding

Out of curiosity, are you using any input emulators (be it Steam Input or 3rd party) ?
