-increasing my skill leads to winning more games
-Climbing rank leads to higher skilled teammates
-Blaming teammates leads to more losses
-Decreasing rank leads to lower skilled teammates
It's infinitely more productive to focus on self improvement rather than criticizing team's gameplay.
Blaming teammates doesn't increase losses. That's an asinine take that the gaming community has latched onto for some reason.
But I do bother regardless. I call out bad play when I see it, and I point out my own bad play to improve on.
DPS players do cause losses more than the other 2 roles though, that's 100% fact.
Found the dps auto-locker who is always bottom damage
Literally, me keeping the healers busy all game, is why you win, not because I do most damage.
But I am only Diamond 1 after playing the game for about a week. So I dont know what I am talking about.
DPS stands for damage per second. Your job is literally to do damage. All of those things you mentioned are done by doing damage at a high level so that they actually have to respond.
Please think a bit before replying.
Unfortunately with Streamers being a thing you will always have sweat bags running around thinking they are the next Ninja. Nothing you can do but to play with people you know or in ranked where people actually try to work together.
Because in these games you can't blame other people when you lose, right?
Nah, I was huge into fighting games in high school and college, but those communities are so toxic it makes this one seem like a utopia. I stepped away because it just wasn't fun to be in those communities.
Not quite the "gotcha!" you thought it was, bud.
