One basic rule, i've been using, is that if the game starts and the solo healer is an off healer, i switch off the tank and just go healer. I was competent enough to tank with a Zenyatta solo healer, but i'm nowhere near that good in Rivals yet. If you can't work with the healer, no need to argue, just switch off your tank immediately.
And before someone uses this as some sort of argument for role queue, if the tank is unsustainable, you absolutely want them to get off the tank unless you want ultimates constantly raining down on you.
Which happens all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time....
