This would be amazing. It doesn't happen all the time but when someone rage quits or disconnects during match due to a connection error, it really sucks because it's all downhill from there.

No, it will be exploited. Bad things happen with people in your team, but also can happen in the other, so its balanced. Plus, the higher you climb, the less things like that happen, people in general will have a better pc, better internet connection and will be more competitive.

Games with this sort of system usually have hefty penalties to discourage that practice. Usually bans, but making them pay the team's total loss would also be a harsh scenario as that would guarantee at least 1 and a half tiers rank down
