Yes solo climbing is possible
Okay so I've besides a few matches which I lost. Solo climbed to gold. So for people saying the same old OW rigged matchmaker, its impossible to climb its really not. I can play all three roles, two heroes in each. I have some very strong heroes some situation heroes. The trick is to get good in QP then go into comp and to learn all of the roles.

46k heals, 13k damage, I haven't even bothered to count how many ults I got. You can see the skill progression in my map awareness and aim if you look at previous videos just by trying to get better at the game as I got more comfortable grinding in QP. This is a gold 2 match I think. Why the hell YouTube links being so buggy? Random thing im wondering

Not sure who says its not possible, i only play solo made it to Gold with 0 issues to grab the skin and park it lol.
I made it to diamond solo. It's definitely possible. Not sure how possible it is after that tho as more and more premades start popping up.
I don't think anyone was arguing that solo climbing is impossible, if anything just that its a matter of consistently trying until you eventually fall upwards.

My question is why would anyone find fun in carrying 5 other people that clearly don't belong in your rank? Atleast if you're in some coordinated team you'd both climb faster, and get some recognition for your effort.
I still believe it's putting a self inserted handicap on yourself choosing to solo queue over making friends and forming your own team. One that make it's significantly more difficult to climb then.

But people insist on going that route.

I speak from my experience: i play solo queue and have reached Plat III twice (i play support), but each time in the two following games, i was placed in a team with players who, based on how they play, seem like they just installed the game. As a result, i dropped back to Gold III.
Coincidence? Or "planned" by the Matchmaking system ??

I just hear people in game and occasionally on forums already saying some of the same things you used to hear on the Blizzard forums already. Rigged matchmaker and what not. This games actually really good at providing tools to get better if people use them.

Like the replay viewer birds-eye view. For people in bronze wondering whats going on during their matches. Watch an entire match in that view. You will IMMEDIATELY understand what people mean by positioning over extending, running in 1 v 6. All that will make 100% sense to you in minutes. lol

Yeah, so..
46K heals is perfectly fine on lower ranks.
Diamond and grandmaster, you will be awesome with 10K, since everyone will die to one hits or roam around like headless chickens, dodging every healer in the universe.

-- It is a joke, but every joke has some truth to it.
I just started comp today, only about 10 hours played, and I'm finding it tough. I don't think I'm bad at all, and can play all three roles (though I'm a much better healer and tank than I am at dps). But, so far out of 5 matches I've only won 1 of them. From people not working together, to instant-lock healers with 6k heals... bronze sucks. I just hope it gets better once I'm able to crawl my way out of the pit. Either way, having a regular team to play with would be more enjoyable.

I donno even if they saw it that way they won't understand cause if they did they wouldn't be doing it in the first place.

I hit gold 3 in 4 days, today I finished. It was not a happy time, especially when I had to go tank in 2/3 of my games because of instalocking dps and if someone wanted to fill they usually went with healers. The higher the rank, the less of a problem it was and less instalockers.

If you refuse to fill in and just say "♥♥♥♥ it, I am playing DPS" it will be much harder.
Made it to diamond soloQ with 30 fps, so yeah, possible.

I know, stuff tends to go down with numbers the higher you go. I was higher ranked when I was still taking OW seriously. Im gonna grind a little tonight, hoping to hit plat without too much trouble. Just gonna play Luna and CD

Accusations without evidence is worthless. I doubt they could provide anything close to being considered good evidence either.

I've legitemately had a match where a dps player went 0-10. I've had another where an enemy player went 57-7 while the rest of their team was 20-30 elims. I'm not bad but I'm not great but kinda seems like these people shouldn't be in my games so why is it so hard for me to climb when damn near every game is like this? or is my own experience not "good enough evidence"?
