this is basicly like a classic moba: all ppl only main 1 char cause they hear streamers say it the best way to play and get ranks faster.

then everyone gonna main the same (most broken) char and ofc it will be banned every game resulting into those guys either rage quit or feed their ass off.


this will basicly be like League of legends r all over again.
only difference it will be "champ X or feed" instead of "mid or feed"

Every player is as good as their rank is, no matter if they one trick or whatever. They have played themselves to that very same ranks as you are, you like it or not.

Everyone has bad games, not everyone can win all the time, sometimes team composition just doesn't play well together, sometimes enemy team just have a guy with good game and carries, sometimes you have good game and you carry, sometimes you are the biggest liability in team and I'm sure everyone has been that spot several times. So don't try to act like gamer god here.

As with every Hero Shooter, you should not be in Ranked if you can't play multiple characters in each role.
You are not ready for Competitive play if you can only play 1-2 characters or only 1 role

I'd argue that solo queuing in generally you might as well be considered throwing in ranked. Your clearly not playing to win that's for sure.

Just report them for throwing hopefully after getting banned from competitive they'll try another hero. Solo queue is pretty much impossible given the amount of actual mentally impaired people who are tossed around like a ragdoll by their direct counter without it ever occurring to them to try switching instead of getting bodied for 30 minutes.

I agree and disagree.
Should you be able to play multiple heroes at a decent level? yes
Should you have mastered multiple heroes? Doesn't matter until you reach Diamond/GM.

Once you are able to play a hero at a decent level, you can climb as long as you have good gamesense.
There are basically two ways people climb upto Diamond/GM:
- Being a master at a hero
- Having good gamesense

One can onetrick and get to Diamond with no issues whatsoever as long as you have good gamesense meaning:
- Positioning/making use of the environment
- Pinging/comms
- When to push vs pull back

Mastering these kind of things are way more important upto Diamond than it is mastering a hero or multiple heroes.

After that however you need to have mastered your hero or multiple heroes to climb further. In Diamond you can get away with mastering one hero and being decent at others as long as you have the gamesense, but GM you need to have mastered multiple.
That is also why we see so many GM players making alt accounts to master new heroes and get them to GM.

playing good on itself means nothing in this game.

if u play solo u can play at top lvl and still end up beeing stuck in silver or gold.
- u will never be able to carry solo teammates who have no clue what they r doing.
- the system will do everything to keep u at 50% winrate. when u start winning u will get matched with total idiots just to get u back to that 50%.
- beeing the best solo player in the game won't do u any good at all if u play vs coordinated premades. they will still destroy your solo team and u can't hold them off alone.

and then theres the issue that the game is free to play. every rank will be and will stay infested with smurfs and cheaters.
