Slight Vent Here
So imagine you are the tank or healer and you have a dps that is 0/5. You want to blame them for your team losing but...it actually might be your fault.

If you aren't tanking properly...or if you are a healer that only focuses on the tanks who never go forward, than you are the problem instead.

I see many games where someone will claim they blocked X amount of damage or healed X amount...but if you are the tank and just stayed back absorbing bullets and making no forward movement while healers just endlessly heal you, than you didn't do well. If you don't do your part, dps can't do theirs.

Likewise, if you are dps and don't capitalize on the initiations a tank commits to, than you are the problem.

Tanks go in first, doc strange is in the front, shield up. Venom comes from above and strikes at their healers and background dps, pending on dps, they then strike from wherever is best when their team is on your tanks and healers keep their head on a swivel healing tanks and dps.

Tanks...get the fck into the battle. You cannot just stay back absorbing shots. You need to be the TANK so dps can do their thing.

Healers, your job is to heal...everyone, not just tanks. DPS is fine when you are able or need to...but pay attention. Some dps are behind you or go into their back lines, you need to pay attention. We have all been behind or next to Jeff that just does dps while we are next to them as punisher or something dying.

DPS, you don't go in first, wait for your tanks to get aggro. If they don't, you stay back or poke. Without your tanks, you'll be focused and just die.

Vent complete and hopefully this gives someone the slap they need to play how they are supposed to.

It's important to understand composition and effective range of DPS when playing tank.
Holding an open long-range room when u have PSY/Starlord in your team against Hawk/Punisher is a bad move.
Soaking too much dmg and dying before panther manages to get into position for a dive isn't smart either
It's not that simple. The ideal team is where every single person understands the current state of a game and can adapt. But that doesn't happen in reality. Everyone likes to play their own strategy and heroes and it's really hard to convience them to do different things. So the best next thing is one person, no matter the role, have to realize that somewhere something is falling apart and it's up to them to change it.
If a DPS goes 0-5 because there is no space, solution isn't "Tank, do better", it's realizing what things that in YOUR power need to be adjusted to improve it. Maybe your tanks can't get space because there isn't enough frontline damage and kills are not secured. They are getting pushes sideways and as result DPS don't get to do "their thing".

It's team effort and everyone individually responsible for the outcome.
I play tank and can flex a little bit, but if i feel like there isn't any progress done, i just go "Anyone can tank?" or "Can you solo tank?", because if i don't switch to a Raccoon or something, so that we get more heal or more damage on front, we'll just keep getting pushed, flanked and everything else.

But i get the general frustration. I love to push and often find myself isolated, because my team won't follow, but in few games that people do, they sound genuinelly happy that tank is moving his ass forward, lol.

always pushing forward feels terrible ffor supports when u are playing against dive/flank composition. If they are good - they survive, if not - die, but in any case u won't get enough heal.
So, it's very important to pay attention to these things IMHO

You aren't wrong that it's not that simple and getting an "ideal" team won't always happen but, if everyone understood just the very simple basics of their role things would be so much better.

You can't blame a punisher or hawkeye who is constantly getting ambushed by a ironfist and a venom. If the tanks, healers and other dps can't create enough distraction up front, that hawkeye is worthless.

Magik is AMAZING but only if your team can create pressure up front so she can properly get behind, same with ironfist and psylock. Tanks really are the most important role. No one else can do anything unless they get in there. Healers gotta come in second and keep them alive while positioning themselves properly. If that happens, dps can do their thing. Blaming dps is normally not the problem.

I am a big warcraft person. You can have the best dps in the game but if they tanks and healers can't keep up, we are wasted. Many battles can go for a VERY long time if you have bad dps and eventually you can get it but the second the tank/healers go...it's over.

Tanks, get in the fight. Do not just stand back with your shield up wasting it. Healers, pay attention. Healing > DPS. DPS, when your team meets those conditions, get in their and murder! Don't go after tanks, go after their healers and dps.
yea my bad for not stopping the spiderman flying at mock 10 that one shot my dps and then disappeared into the abyss. shoulda tanked better.

What prevents those punishers/hawks from switching to smth like iron/starlord/psy?
I feel like if you are DPS and in a constant need of being "babysat" - u made the wrong choice, unless u play 3 healers
P.S. Psy can play alone perfectly well

magneto and bubble on teammate? Or take Venom/Hulk/America and oppress their team with 1 of your dps in the meantime?
