Why NGS anticheat?
This game uses NGS, a kernel level 0 anticheat wich has complete access to your system, it could install absolutely any kind of background task undetected by your antivirus, you will never find out.

These privileges are way beyond the more popular kernel level anticheats like Easyanticheat or Battleeye, there's even non kernel ones like VAC wich do a good job.

Steam should have some regulation on this, is insane.

1) china corp
2) wouldn't really call non kernel VAC a good one
3) china corp
so yeah this anticheat is super agressive. will it matter? nope bc hardware level cheats that take effect before kernel access are the hot sh*t now. do i really care that some chinese videogame company has access to my pc? nah to be honest, i dont really care. which is probably stupid, but eh, cant be bothered unless something happens.

With basic kernel level yes, with this extremely crazy access level no and never will in my life, even if the company is responsible and thrust worty (wich i doubt) a single poor update exploit could give a 3rd person root access.

Exactly, worthless people have wich nothing to lose = no risk, in those cases they just steal some signatures from your profile to run social media bots wich bypass the conventional filters to spread propaganda.
VAC does not do a good job, do you have even an hour played in CS2?

No ♥♥♥♥, no anti-cheat currently used is there to stop cheaters. It is there to make a backdoor into your system to spy on you. How people are shocked about this when you have whistle blowers telling you that governments around the world use windows to backdoor spy on people and what do people do? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nothing. But you tell them some anti-cheat is kernel level and does the same thing? suddenly we all pretend to be outraged.
*Easyanticheat * is a good anticheat AHAHAHHAH AHHAAHAHHAHHAHAH

If the anti-cheat was kernel level, it should be disclosed by Steam rules (check the Helldivers 2 Steam page for an example), no?
