Most of the time only enemy team are bots but never I could imagine I would have my team of bots against another team of bots.
I want to fight real people, is ranked the only way? Cuz I want to play against people but not ultra sweats with uber optimized setups lol
I had no idea, but now that I think about it... I thought I noticed this today in fact. Thanks for the info. Pretty disappointing, and from another comment above, it sounds like ranked can have them potentially as well. People hated it in Delta-Force and got the developers to finally stop hiding them and had them removed... hope to see the same here.
This has become really common in these games lately, it's a bit depressing because it's a major foundation that takes away from the game. In other words, we finally get a decent online/pvp game overall and it's like there's always a catch.
It's not all bots, but it's definitely part of the match-making system. If you read these other comments and my recent reply, it's happening with wins as well it seems. I feel the same way, it's extremely disappointing because we know it's only there to pander to people who may not be playing as well (under the guise of "accessibility"), and to keep people playing via algorithms.
This is not what the majority of people want, and not how a game keeps its players long-term.
They made me a better Panther and a better Spidey. (if you doubt me try playing either character against them)
Burden of proof is on the accuser.
Replay code?
Exactly.
Yep, you just have to pay closer attention to player behavior, it becomes very obvious who the bots are.
I'm no expert at spotting them but it's most obvious with the tanks.
Try getting in a 1v1 somewhere with them and just run towards them and back up some and repeat that, they won't chase you until you die like a human would in QP.
If you do this the right way it'll trigger an endless loop where they run at you, attacking a little bit, backpedal and repeat that cycle, clearly scripted behavior. I couldn't believe my eyes the first time this happened, these 'developers' are really so incompetent that they're making it this obvious.
I've had matches where the match was such a joke I could just stand there attacking them and they're all running past me in a team fight and I wasn't behind or beside them, I was directly in the path of the payload. it's comical, these developers are that bad at making these bots.
And if they don't, they'll either get frustrated and leave the game, or go live in Practice vs. AI mode and be happier.
Either's good.
They already have bot matches you can que and play in specifically made for players to learn and improve, this motivator argument doesn't float at all, especially when all I see are complaints in forums and every lobby with bots.
Making a player falsely believe they are playing against other players by using player names, in a MP lobby, just so they can win and "feel good", "as a motivator", in a MP lobby is probably the most disgusting issues/takes in gaming today. This "ignorance is bliss" mindset is objectively one of the most insane brain-dead takes that 99% of gamers completely disagree with. This does the complete opposite to improve a players skill, and to the LONG TERM population health of any game as it grows distrust and spreads like a cancer.
The largest issue is the bots are hidden as player names, so call them bots and I'll accept them in quick-play. Otherwise, they are there to algorithmically manipulate players into staying longer. This is the same issue with Delta Force, another Chinese developed game where they hid bots as players. The community finally figured it out, got outraged, and they finally had to acknowledge it and remove them entirely. Many other examples.
100% the same thing will happen here if people actually realize it as a majority. The only semi-pass is that it's just quick-match and not competitive, vs FPS is taken far more seriously in all lobbies - however, strong evidence shows they are mixed in with real players in some competitive matches which I have started to notice as well. Again, name them "bots" as a compromise, or remove them. I broke my rule, I said this wasn't a discussion but that mindset was disturbing, ending it here.
LOL
Occasionally I show messages from people I've blocked like this fool and yet again he has something stupid to say, not saying anything important or relevant.
Look at this delusional bootlicking shill exposing his stupidity, "they're a motivator for the player to improve".
I would regularly hit 30-50+ elims if I care to play QP, then they make me play against bots that make the match so easy it makes the game boring. So how is that "motivating me to improve" LOL
Yeah I've seen you trying to talk like you know everything but you really have no idea what you're talking about or what is even going on, I know you're old but try not to make it so obvious you're this clueless and out of touch.

i thought they were all bots. The games generally took 5 minutes
