Is Hawkeye a problem?

I'm trying to learn to main Magik and I'm fully aware I have a long way ahead of me but one hero upsets me more then Hela hitscanning, getting eaten by Jeff or instakilled withing the circle of death extending to the horizon by Psylocke and that hero is Hawkeye.

Here are my favorite problems with him:

1. Getting instakilled with a Headshot while being fully mobile, duking, with full life and in partial cover.
2. Charging into a Hawkey thereby lifting him up and getting shot by him while in air before I can finish him.

In all cases I reviewed the game to check wether he aimhacks or something else ridiculous and no they weren't its just...
I understand that hitting the headshot is not a given, its tricky. But once you do consistantly you eradicate with normal leftclicks 3 enemy Heroes in 5 seconds. It just sounds wrong. I'm so frustrated right now that seeing a Hawkeye in the enemy team makes me want to quit the match immediately. Even Ironfist doesnt feel this opressive. At least Ironfist has to take a risk by moving into meele range. Hawkeye just stands in the back and kills and kills and kills. To the Overwatch players here: Is Widowmaker or Hanzo in Overwatch this outrages?

He's been banned in 100% of the diamond+ matches I've been in so yes he's a problem

+1, never once played with him since getting over diamond. He's comically broken

There really isn't a counter since this character can one-shot any hero outside of tanks. This character and Hela the only DPS characters I see getting banned in rank.

And getting 2-shot as Vanguard isnt fun either. You get 1 arrow while charging at him and another face-to-face right in your face.

Maybe he will use his sword to push you back. Peak gameplay. Maximum skill.

I laugh every time I play or spectate a Hawkeye. They and I both miss 20 shots before landing one headshot and they just flounder, even in the sky.

Don't know what it is that makes him more annoying than any Hanzo or Huntsman TF2 Sniper though, but I've never laughed so much as them.

Hawkeye and Hela both have a seasonal damage buff of 20%. Once season 1 begins and the buffs get swapped around we'll see how strong they really are.

Magik also has a 15% damage buff BTW.

When you look at team up... there is this yin/yang celestial fishes type of icon next to them. You can also see it in corners when picking heroes.

Its basically a buff that dont require a teammate. Adam Warlock have +15% healing and Mantis/Starlord can get revive when paired with him. They need Adam Warlock but Adam Warlock dont need them. His 15% is a seasonal buff.

I do feel that how damage his general shot is is enough that I don't even bother using his other shots that often. Even his ultimate I just don't need because his base shot is more then enough. I do use his double jump ability for mobility, and his swing ability in an attempt to put some distance between me and an enemy that gets too close and that's about it.

They probably could just remove his headshot damage bonus on his base shot honestly. He can deal some fast damage fast even if he just lands body shots IMO.

some characters like magik are predictable. for example when you portal you can only go straight. once you get the timing you just shoot where they are coming out at. when being charged its the same thing, she only has 1 route to take so a headshot is easier with it.

but people are right with the new season coming his damage will drop to more of BWs line. it will be strong but you will live after taking a shot.
