Bans need to be harsher, faster and more efficient.
Just got out of a platinum match with a spiderman that's actively throwing, playing like he's in silver, flaming for 20+ minutes, wishing death threats on people, wishing people die IRL, admits to throwing, constant toxicity, constant insults, constant flaming, how is this guys account not completely terminated?

Chat bans don't work for this nonsense, terminate the account completely.

I legit just told you I came out of the match where exactly that happened. These people are genuinely deranged and have no business playing this game, hell, they shouldn't even be allowed on the internet without mandatory therapy and oversight.
Report and move on.
If you want to go step further, they have feedback and e-mails. Go compile all the evidences and contact support directly if it bothers you so much.
But i guess you just want to rant, not actually do anything about it, so be my guest.

Already have and so is mine, that doesn't change the fact that if you actually tell someone to die in real life, that should IMMEDIATELY be picked up by their automated systems and immediately terminate the account. There shouldn't even need to be a need for investigation or need for someone to look at the report. Just immediate account terminate for wishing death on others over a damn game.
Imagine you're a company with a moderator team. Now imagine your game just came out and you're expecting a decent amount of players. Everything is rolled out and players start to install your game.

Things are going incredibly well. Too well. Hundreds of thousands of players flood in, with even more on console. You are solely responsible for moderating the content, with whatever pass-through system implemented by the companies of multiple consoles.

Automatic moderation isn't enough, and you've decided to not automatically mute/ban players based off of the number of reports they receive to avoid abuse by premades and griefers stacking reports on one person to get them chat banned for a month.

You are scrambling for more staff as you try to gauge how many moderators is appropriate, dealing with pay concerns from employees who are being flooded with reports for what might be seen as not getting paid enough for the workload, the employees themselves inundated with pages and pages of reports.

Report and move on. They will email you if action is taken. The reason it takes so long is that it's difficult to reliably ban players who are actually toxic and doing what you described and people who were reported by mistake, a griefer, an off-color comment, or just said 'gg ez' and someone on the other team decided that was enough to send a report.
May i ask what "flaming" is?

What if they are the litmus test for what happens when weaker willed souls allow the bluescreen to take over? Pretty sad look for some area's of our society ..........That being said im playing pretty damn good with penni the badazz parker at the moment. Now if i find 2-3-4 folks to play with her strengths on a good team....well thats the choc cake we all crave my dudes

Basically, telling your teammates that they suck at the game, should uninstall and so on.

I think flaming is fine, Everyone needs to hear criticism cuz sometimes its valid. But resulting to death threats etc is just pathetic and unfortunately certain games have let people get away with too much for too long.

it is picked up. everything from voice and text is recorded in the match so when reports come in the can pull them. investigations arent always what you may seem. for some it could take time and for others its instant. its not the first time death threats have been said in a game and it wont be the last. just report, block and move on. youll get a notice when the person has been dealt with.

criticism is one thing which can be good. flamming is not criticism and never helps. it just pointless anger towards a person. they are better ways to get a point across.
