It's the laziest attempt to complain. See it in call of duty too. Dunno why ppl think levels mean anything.
Level does tell if a player is absolutely new (unless smurf) or plays already a while.
A new player, having 10 matches won't have level 40+
Not talking about competetive just normal games. Sure, a level 100 player can still be crap but doesn't mean you should match them with a sub level 20 player because they at least have some general knowledge about the game that a new player can not have.
The game has some classes that if you dont counter pick will just walk over the objective.
And the fact the game sees the team odds as even remotely similar was insane.
And it really wont matter how good you get. When not if, you get a newer team you will lose. But its almost never a close match. most times its just one side destroying the team at the start and then picking off stragglers as they spawn. And with classes like spiderman or iron fist who are great at getting behind teams you are going to get spawn camped eventually. And if its an iron man you are out of luck if playing a class without range.
What matters is hidden MMR
Which is good because I've accumilated cursed MMR on OW2 where every QP game has to be a sweatfest.
Your problem here is that your relying on the matchmaker to pick your teammates for you. You'll never get a reliable team regularly doing this, as the matchmaker is only guessing at what types of players you'd want on your team. It cannot read your mind, it goes off of stats of you and tries to pair you with random people that all hover around the same stats.
The only way you can reliable get good teams mates regularly is if you make friends, either in game, on discord or on boards like this, and start forming your own parties yourself.
this...........definitely isn't how the matchmaker works, LOL
Then be sure to enlighten me how it picks teammates for you. How does it know what type of teammates you want on your team? Ones that communicate. Ones that know what heroes your good at and will pick characters that work well together? I'd love to know!
Have you tried just asking for people to play with? You can always remove those who don't work out at any given moment. I've already gotten 20+ friends on my list in game, just trying to get more now because they're not always active when I am on.
It isn't hard at all, and the little bit of effort you put into it can really pay out and make it better in the long run. It's totally worth the effort.
I don't ask for "perfect teammates" or anything near that.
I am argueing about that the game put me always into absolute stomps with players much higher than everything the same matching puts into my team. Every match was like (trying to add other words to make it easier to understand what I am talking about) putting new players (first graders) up against professionals (grown adult teamplayers).
I am not asking for anything big. All I want is NOT being put against players which even the dumbest algorythm understands my team has no chance against.
I don't want to get carries, I don't want free wins (stomps from my team) or anything alike.
Dunno how I can word it differently (sorry ESL), maybe someone else can word it a bit better for me but I tried to make it as simple as possible.
