Something is definitely wrong with mouse aiming for me, no idea what
Something is definitely wrong with mouse aiming, can't figure out what. My sensitivity is all over the place and it doesn't feel like an acceleration or smoothing problem. Never had anything like this in any PC game I've ever played. Can't aim at all. My mouse feels like it's in mud when playing matches sometimes. It feels great in practice range, in actual matches, it's completely broken. Anyone else experiencing this?

Rivals has forced acceleration and smoothing. You used to be able to disable it in the config files but they disabled that workaround until they drop the season 1 update. Isn't that great.

As I said in the OP, that is not what I'm experiencing. Sensitivity feels great in the practice range, get into an actual match and it fluctuates. It has nothing to do with mouse acceleration or smoothing, I know what those feel like.

Maybe s1 will have an option to disable. Also doing it yourself you are asking for ban... then you will visit forums saying "I didnt do anything wrong" like anyone here would care.

I don't feel like this game has mouse acceleration on by default, like I said in OP, mouse aiming feels great in the practice range. I never use mouse acceleration in any other shooters.

As I said, s1 will have an option to disable it and you can no longer do it yourself. 2 lines of code in the config file fixed it but apparently that's too much work for them to do right now.
Probably rigged matches,,,, &/or server desync (lag)
fr, you just can't rely on technology or trust anything anymore.
'Legit' is NOT here.

another thing could be the mouse tracking itself.. my mouse tracking seems randomly wonky/sporadic at times, other times it's just fine..
could be just me lol, hell idk anymore, it's hard to know what is really the problem when there are so many variables/factors at play.

Seems to be something related to me, haven't been able to find any others complaining of this. It's unfortunate, can only hope for a fix in the next big patch, whenever that comes around. Right now the game is unplayable for me.
I've had the exact issue since today with no clear reason why, I've never had any issues with mouse acceleration or smoothing up until now and my aim still feels sluggish after raising the sensitivity. It only happens in matches, never in the practice range. My friend also had the same issue starting today, and in the same match. The only reason that we can think of is that it might be the servers. My game also started crashing at the same time these issues started happening despite no changes being made to my PC, no settings being changed and having no performance issues at all up until now.

There is going to be a downtime for server maintenance tomorrow so maybe there will be a fix if it does turn out to be a server issue.
I very much have this problem, you can test it, move your mouse left and right about the same amount constantly and you'll slowly turn in a circle despite that being impossible. Or it should be anyway.

its because the game was designed for controller, and the game doesnt use raw mouse input.

Happens LESS often after the season 1 patch but still happens, and it sucks when it does.

We desperately need raw mouse input, ASAP.
So season 1 patch helped and I could play. This new patch Jan 22nd has RUINED MOUSE AIMING for me again. What is going on here? Anyone else aiming completely ruined again? It's like mouse acceleration is on to the extreme when it's not activated.

Same exact thing with me. I will be aiming in one direction and then it pulls toward that direction way too fast. And sometimes it wont turn fast enough. If anyone has a fix let me know.

I need a fix so bad, I was so happy to be able to aim well now it's gone :(
